Romance Package

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the board and have booked a 7 day western Magic Cruise for May 22!
I was wondering if anyone had any information or insights on the Romance Package. What is included in the price, was it worth the money etc... Thanks for your help!

Another couple on my cruise got this, and she got to make her Palo ressies (all three possibilities), her spa ressies, AND pick her dining rotation - all thanks to Debbie from Dining on DCL. That's the same woman my TA talked to, and both have said wonderful things about her.

I'm very excited to know that all I have to do is get to the ship, check in, get the kids to the clubs and RELAX...

Just wanted to post that a fellow cruiser just bought this, and found out for our group the following:

"The $10 per person fee for dinner at Palo is included in the price of the package. I just spoke with the dining coordinator at DCL, as the reservationists at DCL were telling me differently, and she confirmed this. At this time, as a courtesy to guests booking this package, Disney is also making advance reservations for Palo brunch and high tea. However, the $10 per person service charge for brunch is NOT included in the package price.

The couples spa treatment is also scheduled in advance. They only have two treatments to choose from with this package. The first is a 50 minute couples Well-Being massage with aromatherapy oils and the other is a combination treatment with a 25 minute couples Spa Taster (back of legs, back, neck and shoulder massage) and a 25 minute facial booster.
The other components of the package include a gift in your stateroom, champagne breakfast in bed one morning and one romantic turndown service (done on the night you schedule dinner at Palo). "

Where do you find details of the packages like these? I have just booked on the Xmas cruise but I couldn't find anything about any extra packages to book. Is there a list with prices somewhere or do I just contact my travel agent?

We saw it in the Passporter at first, and that caused DH to order it...but you can also read about it on their site:

Question: do you pay for this when you book it? Or later when you pay the rest of what's owed on the cruise (obviously before 60 days before sail date).
?? Just curious if you need to pay for that at the time of booking it- or later.

Personally, I'm not sure, as apparently DH booked it right in front of me and I was clueless - he asked his mom to put it in the ressies when we booked the whole cruise. The kids must have been distracting me...imagine that!

I'm not sure either. We just paid for it when we booked it.

You can book after you have made final cruise payments. We did have to go through the TA- Dreams Unlimited. We could not add it directly with Disney.

You can add special packages at any time. If you booked directly with DCL, you call them. If you used a TA, they you must do it thru your TA. You pay for it when you book it.
