Just wondering, my parents are going on our upcoming trip to IOA. They always ride the roller coasters at MK and MGM. We have never been to IOA and are looking forward to our first visit. I know that Hulk and Dueling Dragons are more intense, but do you think they will be o.k. to ride these at IOA? They both loved the RNR at MGM and they love all the coasters at MK, but I don't want to put them on a roller coaster that is going to cause a heart attack!!!! Please give me your opinion!

Okay, okay... how OLD are your parents?

I'm willing to bet they're not much older than me and I haven't had a heart attack on these coasters, yet.... NOT ONE WORD, BARRY HOM!!

I think if they can handle RnRC and the two mountains they can handle and LOVE the IOA coasters! :teeth:

My Dad was 70 when he rode RNR and my mom was 63 and that was 2 years ago. They seem eager to ride the coasters at IOA. We'll see what they say when they see the HULK! You know... they couldn't see what they were getting into when they rode the RNR coaster at MGM. If they decide not to ride them, I'm sure they will enjoy just resting and waiting on us! They do like to people watch!

I heard a story from someone, it may have been a tour guide, about how this one grandmother was celebrating like her 93rd birthday or so with a group that totaled 32. The tour group took her on to Dueling Dragons and many younger riders didnt think she'd do it. She came back just fine, and was cheered on by the younger riders.

Just something to consider...

Whew! They ARE older than me! :teeth:

The amazing thing about Disney's "coasters" is most of them are in the dark. People don't really know what they're in for until they're on there.

The Hulk and Deuling Dragons, especially the Hulk, is right out there. The first amazing launch is about the first thing people see after the Port of Entry. The one thing I must say is the Hulk is the smoooooothest coaster I've ever experienced. The only thing I don't like about coasters is being jerked around. We "older" folks have problems with nausea (inner ear problems) and the amusement type rides make me very sick. They never did when I was Robert and Barry's age... ... but they do now so I did some research. I don't have those problems with the IOA coasters because they're made so well.

God bless your parents for taking on this kind of fun. You are a blessed "child"! :teeth:
