rollaway vs air mattress at the RPR

I am staying at the RPR in a standard room with 5 people. From reading other posts you can fit a twin mattress in the room. Does anybody have any pictures of the room with the roll away bed in a standard room? I'm just wondering what it looks like with the roll away bed in the room. Thanks for any suggestions.

The rollaway will fit between the window and the bed. You wont be able to walk up to the window with the bed unfolded.

It's cozy but workable.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could show me a picture. So, you ended up using a twin air mattress? Did you fly or drive down? We will be flying and I'm wondering if it'll be too heavy to lug around. Do you recommend any special type? I never owned one before. Thanks again.

I have traveled with a twin air mattress made by Aerobed. It fit in my small size rolling luggage that my 7 year old was able to pull. MUCH more comfort than a hotel soafabed. Not sure what the rollaways are like at the Universal hotels.

I saw your post and stopped in because we have 5 too so there is always some issue ; )

Thanks for the ideas/tips. I went out today and bought an air mattress. I hope we can fit it in our luggage and not use it as a carry on. It felt on the heavy side. I just hope its more comfy than the roll away bed.

So if you take an air mattress do you take your own sheets and blanket or would you ask for extra from the hotel?

it fit nicely between the second bed and the window, with about a foot to spare. We would not have been able to fit it between the two beds.

Yes, you do need to bring your own sheets, and we just used one of the bedspreads for the blanket.

when i stayed at the hotels and had to make a bed on the floor for a son, i called star service from my room phone.

housekeeping brought extra sheets, blankets and pillows for us.

they will provide those linens for you if you call and request it
