I hope everyone is having fun with their planning! I just got back from the DLH July 29-Aug 1 and can't wait to return. My little sisters are going to LOVE Carsland! Can't wait for them to see it.

We will be there from Sept 9th-14th. Looks like I picked the week with the majority of refurbs. Oh well. I wanted to go during a less crowded time and I knew the risk of rides being down. We should be able to squeeze in SM, IASW & Muppets our 1st night but I wasn't originally planning on doing the parks that day but DD and I really want to do SM. It will be me, DD 17, DS 2 and my parents. DH will be deployed. This is DD's high school graduation gift. We are staying at BWPPI.

Yea, only 4 more weeks. We will be there Sept 16th thru the 28th. We are staying at BW Stovall's. I am so excited to see Cars Land.

I am doing my first trip to Disneyland, a solo trip 8-15 I cant wait! I do see its a big refurb week. But I booked Walking in Walt's Disneyland footsteps tour and I cant wait!

Oh I am jealous of you for the Walk in Walts tour, I really wanted to do that but DH didn't want to give up any of his precious park time.

We are less than 3 weeks out! I haven't had any time lately to plan anything or get excited over it because my business has taken off and working into the night. You have to plan early. I made our reservations (for September) in February and got a fantastic rate on our room. I'm paying 50% more for the night I added yesterday (and even that was a discount off of what was listed on their website that they gave me when I called to modify the reservation). So, planning early is the frugal thing to do!

Going to DL 9/17-9/21, staying at DLH. Decided to go into debt and take the parents! Dad hasn't been since 2003 or so, and Mom hasn't been since '99 - in fact, she's never seen DCA! See ya around!

changing our dates slightly... We are now going september 25 -october 2. Just booked our flights tonight and couldnt resist the cheap flights by adjusting our days. Found seattle to long beach for $110 per person roundtrip, taxes and fees included and one bag free!!!! It would have been way less time to drive to vancouver airport from where we live instead of seattle, but for this price all 4 of us are flying for the price that it would cost for just one person flying out of vancouver going to disneyland and saving money doing it....life is good!!!!!

that's awesome! you'll overlap us a little. We will be there Sept 23-26. Where did you get such a great deal on a flight? I can't find anything from Denver to SNA or LAX for less than $250 round trip.

Finally decided on the GCH for our trip Sept 5-9. This is our first time splurging on a Dinsey hotel
Not excited that the park is closing early on our first full day, had to move our reservations to the BB to Friday but still excited, just a month away!

I find not so bad having it closed early the first day, just means I am more rested for the next day!

We are officially booked! Sept 24th-26th are our Park Days. Can't wait! The Disney Park hours will be updated in the next couple weeks so I can see what's actually going on. Just going and walking around (and eating corndogs) is going to be enough for me.

Hello, as a long time follower of this thread, I felt I should add my name to the list. We have enjoyed reading all the posts so far, and wanted to thank everybody for the tips and tricks

My family of 6 will be taking our first trip to the land from September 16th until the 21st.

I'm going to take a SOLO trip for 2 nights Sept 22-24 and I'm so excited. My sister is having a baby and lives in AZ so I thought oh I have an annual pass maybe I could plan one way tickets and it ended up being cheaper then a round-trip from Seattle to Tucson so how could I pass up the opportunity to see the mouse! I just love Disney and will get 5 visits out of my annual pass. Pretty good huh??? Now to figure out where to stay??? Two of the places I was going to try didn't have any rooms....anything going on that weekend??

We'll be there that weekend (and we're from Tucson, too). I just added a 4th night at the Del Sol yesterday, which probably wouldn't be my first choice for a solo trip. I hope nothing special is going on then...
