Roll Call: September 6-13...Anyone else??

Dad Camp Bell... Welcome! Aren't you all excited? :D It's finally getting here. I have 3 days to work this week, and then my vacation officially starts!
doulasaz... We also are being taken back to the airport to catch the Disney bus that morning. I will be purchasing a case of sodas, because I called down to the hotel and the clerk said they have a convenience store/gas station across the street from the hotel. We are at the Days Inn on McCoy road. This will prevent us from having to purchase soda card for $30.

We're planning on a quick stop at a Grocery in route to Radisson late Friday afternoon... Is there anything other then Bottled Water & Sodas that I should think about grabbing.

Someone mentioned dry cleaning earlier. We have used the service on the ship and actually take stuff there to get it cleaned. That way we don't worry about it getting wrinkled in the suitcase. They do next day delivery and the price is litter to no more than our local cleaners.

Dad Camp Bell, if you drink, you can always bring beer, wine and liquor with you. I have found with the $15 corking fee at dinner that is about a wash as far as wine goes, but it is nice to have a bottle or two in the room to enjoy a glass on the verandah.

We are packing and have most everything together.

My DD turns 3 on the cruise, so it looks like she will have several other kids her age going to the clubs.

3 days to go.

Have we agreed upon an official meeting spot yet? Last I heard, it was deck 10 or the ESPN skybox.

Woobie

I'm with you. Should we all just meet after the sail-away party at the ESPN zone? The reason I said that, is in case there is bad weather, we would be inside. Although we are NOT going to have bad weather:cool: :smooth:

If you think you can be there, cut and paste to the list. We won't stay long, just a quick hi to everyone. Pagehouse... Verandah Man wants me to give Nate a big hug for him:) He emailed me to tell me this.

List coming to Dis Meet after Deck Party in ESPN ZONE:

1. Incharge (Gloria,Angela,Angelo)

Don't even mention b-- w------! I've been watching Fabian on the St. Thomas website, looks like he'll be long gone by the time we get there. I'll tell you what works best for me, I carry an umbrella, then it never rains. Maybe if we all packed one we wouldn't need them. BTW, did you know it's going to be a full moon the day we're there? I hope it's clear enough to see.

Incharge, I want you to know I found my DS3 birth cert. and I bought another copy of mine today, so now all I need is DH's.

AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGG!   Where is DH birth certificate??
I......Feel.....Faint...! Please tell me you know where it is, or that you are frantically looking for it, tearing the house up!
The bad thing about this, is that you are probably all calm, while I am going into cardiac arrest FOR YOU!!!:D I am glad you found yours and DS. That will be beautiful if the sky is clear for the full moon. Can't you just see it on the water? Don't forget your Purell sanitizer, since it's that time of the year. Anyone else coming to the meet-n-greet?

Hi Incharge and other 9/6 cruisers: I just popped over to wish you all a cruise filled with sunshine, laughter, and magical memories!

-Sarah
P.S. A belated thank you to Incharge for the warm wishes for our cruise. It was really terrific (I read your post when we were in Cozumel).

Nathan and the rest of the Page family will be there. We're looking forward to meeting everyone. I think Nick is looking forward to meeting some of the other pre-teens (Incharge, Dad Camp Bell).

Incharge - Nate says he'll welcome the hugs!

Thank you so much Maleficent59.... I understand that you all had a magical cruise :D Please sprinkle pixey dust for us that we have a wonderful voyage as well.

It's almost here! Is everybody ready??? I know I am! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Ready to get on the ship and sail away? YES!!! Ready, as in packed and everything done, ready to leave? NO! But you already knew that. I could have three more weeks and I still wouldn't be ready to go. Glad I don't have to wait that long!

Just wanted to "butt" in here and put in my two cents about the Dueling Pianos that have both a Family Show (7:45-8:15 PM) and an Adult Show (10:15-12:00PM) on the Magic.

Fidelio and Anton do a fabulous job of keeping both adults and children entertained with their piano and vocals. During the family show, the kids are encouraged to come up on stage and dance/mime/sing to the songs! Some great video opportunities here (ask me, I have 6 hours of Dueling Pianos with my son!!)

Fidelio has been with Dueling Pianos since they uncrated the pianos at OffBeats. He is truly a superb player and entertainer who can read his audience during the Adult show and gear his songs accordingly!

Example - during the rendition of "Sweet Caroline", he had a woman come up and sit on his piano to do her version of "so good" - an Herbal Essence/When Harry Met Sally imitation.

Another night he sang a special anniversary song to a couple called "I did it HER way" - hysterical!!!!

They are very good at playing requests and even ask for them since this is an interactive show - that means you can sing and clap along.

I had Anton (an Aussie) play "Waltzing Matilda" for me since I really do like the song!!!! It was wonderful!

There isn't a greater show on the ship and I highly recommend it.

Yes, I am the founder of the Fidelio Fan Club - but if he wasn't good, I wouldn't have been. Also, it was his influence on my 7 year old son last year that brought on piano lessons!!!

Again, Dueling Pianos at Off Beats - Fidelio and Anton
7:45 - 8:15PM nightly Family show
10:15 - 12:00PM nightly ADULT show

Be there and you will never think of piano the same again!

Rae

Thanks Rae,
I will definitely check them out!
