TED & SANDY: Joyce & I are going on the October 23, 2004 Cruise. DU says we got the last secret porthole room (5020). I wasn't sure if Joyce was going to go for it but she is VERY excited. We have to give a deposit by 2/20/03. We are planning on flying down the day before because it was very nerve-racking flying down the same day & I can't remember if you two did the last time. Let me know where you stayed, transportation, etc. We are also going to go to the park for a few days after the cruise since we really missed that the last time.

BONNIE: Did Glenn make it to New Jersey? Who knows maybe he'll be "SNOWED-IN" in New Jersey :p :p

It was a really nice day in work today especially working with Joyce. Tomorrow we are having a little party which started out being "Foods You Love" in honor of Valentine's Day but now it is going to be breakfast goodies & ordering out for lunch!

Have a great weekend everyone. Toodles JEANNE

Jeanne --
John, Kristen & I are going that week too! We are just waiting for our tax refund and then we are booking!! Maybe more of you will jump aboard??? I have heard alot of talk about bushwackers and it seems that it was a vital thing that I missed on the last cruise and I am looking forward to all of you veterans to point me in the direction.....

Had a low key evening tonight. John loves German food (not me!!) so for Valentines Day, I surprised him and made reservations for tonight at the best German restaurant in Milwaukee. He loved it!! We could only get a 5:30 reservation so we just got home. A very early Saturday night!!

Hope all of you (ESPECIALLY BONNIE) have a great weekend!!

--- TTFN Laurie

Oh, the poor Big Guy! and poor Julie too. I don't see her on-line right now, (which is pretty rare) so I hope she's sleeping!

Jeanne, wow, you got a SPR and everything. You guys will have so much fun. Laurie too. You guys will have SO much fun.

I hope Glenn's flight made it in OK, Bonnie. Have a great weekend.

Busy, busy, busy. Back to life now. Susan is relaxing, Krista is planning, I need to clean off at least one table in my house before getting called back to work.
See ya'
Lori

Hi everyone! I'm still here! Still tired, but still moving! I have another Bridal Show tomorrow so I won't be on until late like tonight. Today was just dealing with the "whines" from the Big Guy. ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know he still doesn't feel good when he does this all day! Napping has really been screwed up the last few days, HOPEFULLY he will be on the mends by tomorrow.

Jeanne, You will love the secret porthole room! I liked it, but we had one that was a "joiner" and the other family in the other cabin had two children who were VERY LOUD!!!!! But for the price, the room is GREAT! We will probably book on the 23rd cruise too, but we are waiting to see which week would be better. If we go on the 23rd cruise Makenzie misses her halloween program at school:( ! But, that isn't a real problem. All she keeps telling us is that she wants to go back on Mickey's boat.

Well, I would continue to chat away to myself, but I think I am finally tired enough to actually fall asleep, so I am going to go try. I will probably be back!

Have a good day today (Sunday)!! I take it that Glenn has arrived! We missed out on this snow thank goodness!

Have a GREAT day Denine and Jerry and Kaleigh! We will be thinking of you! God Bless you Kaleigh!

Yes Glenn made it here. The plane that left before his original flight I think the were supposed to leave around 7 AM arrived in PHila at 11:30! Glenn actually got in early at least for the new flight.

He met mom! THis afternoon when we are snow bound I will introduce him to you guys.

Julie et al: Was that you banging on the door last night? Sorry I didn't answer it! LOL!

Well I just got back from helping with the bridal show (still no snow here!!! It missed us this time around!) and I went to pick up Makenzie and the Big Guy up at my mom's and she informs me she thinks that the Big Guy has an ear infection! WONDERFUL!!!!! SO now I am debating whether to take him up to the emergency room tonight OR wait til tomorrow morning and HOPE to get into the pediatrician sometime tomorrow. After Krista's friend, I'm thinking of taking him tonight. He is laying down now, but when he gets up if he is still cranky I will probably take him.

Glad to see that Glenn has made it there safe and sound Bonnie. Maybe you will be snowed in for a few days!:p This storm that missed us is really pounding the eastern states it looks like.

BOY o BOY is our thread quiet! I know that Susan and Sally are out of town, Denine had Kaleigh's baptism today and Bonnie is occupied with company, but where is everyone else?

I still can't decide what to do with the Big Guy. He could probably wait until tomorrow morning, but should I just go tonight to start the medicine tonight?

I guess it is you and me. Just thought I would check before Alias.
I don't know what to tell you about the ear infection. Even though that was a horrible thing to happen to my friend, I can't let it freak me out about childhood ear infections. Clare has had her share and always come through smelling like a rose. She rarely even acts like she has one, I just have that Mommy sense. If he's miserable take him, if not, maybe wait until the morning.

Hope you all can get some sleep tonight. Oh, yeah, you too Bonnie.

Denine and Jerry, hope things were wonderful today.

Hello to all you lurkers.

Krista

Well dearest, the snow storm that you thought missed us is pounding us while you sleep. The snow is really coming down and the streets are covered.

Bonnie, how's the weekend going. You know I have tomorrow off so there's still time for all of us to come down to Jersey! Just make sure you have dinner ready! Don't be like Denine and be inhospitable! :(

Looks like Glenn gets to stay at least another day! Can't get out of the house! Snow emergency! Roads closed, airport closed. You still going to try and get her Garry? Good luck!!!!
It's OK with mme though!!! LOL!

LAURIE: So glad you are joining us. Just wait until you get "bushwacked"!

JULIE: If you do the 23rd cruise & add some days in the Park Makenzie could be in WDW for the Halloween Parade. Something to think about?

Of course Joyce & I were at work yesterday during the blizzard & our only worry was that relief wouldn't get in, but we work with a great bunch of people & our relief came in an hour early so we could get home. In my next life I am NOT being a Nurse. I want to be a "non-essential personnel" & sit home. The ride home was FUN:Pinkbounc . It was nice, deep, soft snow & the Jeep just plowed right through it - drifts & all. My son had to report to Gloucester Twp. Police Station this AM & took my car so now I am really SNOWED-IN!!!!!! Walked the dog this morning & couldn't breath. It was an aerobic workout. The snow is up to my thighs & the dog kept leaping from one spot to the other. Dodger being a Husky he felt right at home.

Starting to ramble again..... I am home all day so will check in periodically to see who else is snowbound. Toodles  :earsgirl: Jeanne
P.S. BONNIE: Behave yourself!!!!!!

Hi all. Just checking in from dry, sunny Colorado. This is ridicules. What is up with the weather? I need to call planet management ... the environmental services dept., I believe it is.

Well, I imagine Kaleigh's baptism was heavenly. Tell us all about it Denine.

I hope the Big Guy's ear turns out to NOT be infected and you had a better night Julie.

Maybe I'll do some yard work today ... since it's so warm out! I should pull up some nonessential plants so that the important ones don't have so much competition for water. Uggh.

Anybody heard from Darren???

Hi guys, I couldn't get on all weekend. Boy am I a MESS! I was getting a little depressed. But once I got on I had WONDERFUL news. Yea, Jeanne and Joyce will be with us, too. Ted knows and is happy with your decision. We will be across the elevators from you in 5520. Party time in the hallway! Laurie, we WILL introduce you to the bushwacker.

Lori and Barb, I just emailed you after trying to get on the boards. You might still want to email me because of my problem. Lori, I will call Cheesecake Factory to make sure that they are open for sure. They were to open this month and channel 9 did a piece on them and people were eating. If I can't get on I will call you with the info.

Glad that Bonnie's weekend worked out. Snowed in? Talk about fun! :)

Julie, sure hope that the Big Guy is getting better! I love your idea of thinking of him walking down the aisle. Should work!:D

Ted said that he would write but is much to busy with the honey do's. He has a day off today but not really. ;)

I am soooooo excited about Jeanne and Joyce coming with. I can't stand it. Let's go now! Last time I checked we had 654 days left. What a joke! We flew in the day before, rented a car at Avis at the airport and drove to the Radisson. Turned it in and then had Avis shuttle us to the Port. We then had them shuttle us back after the cruise and rented another car and drove to WDW. It went very well. We are going to do it again because it worked so good. It was not hard to drive.

For some reason, Ted is pacing. I think that he is hungry so I better feed him. He's funny about food. Always has to eat. Can never let a day go by without. Shoot. Hope I can get back on! Cross your fingers.

SANDY: At first when I didn't see a post from you or Ted I thought maybe you were trying to change your reservation! Joyce & I are SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED already I can't imagine what we will be like the closer the date.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

I shoveled the front of the house & took some prophalactic Motrin since I just know my muscles will be killing me later tonight. My daughter Summer is trying to shovel out her car. She has a little Saturn & you couldn't even see it. It was completely covered with snow. Thank God no work until Thursday & hopefully by then the snow situation will have been resolved!

Miss you all!!!! Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

I'M BACK!!!!!

Had a great time at Myrtle Beach. Walked on the beach Saturday afternoon for about 6 miles and then Sunday morning for about 3.

Saturday's high was 72 and Sunday morning it was 45. This morning it was 38. We drove home carefully since we were going to be driving into the southern edge of the snowstorm (sleet and ice too). The schools were closed today in Charlotte because of the ice and snow. This was supposed to be a make up day from the December ice storm!

I started my scrapbook for the cruise. I did 12 pages. I spent all day Sunday on it. I have so much more to do. I won't say it looks good but I will say that the pictures are slowly making it into some type of album rather than a box!!

Glad Glenn made it in to NJ, Bonnie. Say hello!!

While you all are booking for 2004 go ahead and add a trip for this year and join us!!!

Julie, how is the Big Guy's ear? You all need some pixie dust and rest!!

I'll be back on again later. Just wanted to say:

I MISSED YOU ALL!

Wow, can you believe it? I am on again. Twice in one day makes up for the other days I couldn't get on.

Ah, Jeanne, NO! We are not even considering changing our ressies. We are now firm on the Western. Especially since you are joining us. We have first dinner seating. What about you? Laurie, what is your preference in dinner?

Lori and Barb, I checked out Cheesecake Factory and it opens at 11:00. Is that where we are going for sure? It is located INSIDE the mall by Dillard's. It is on the bottom floor. If you get to it from the inside look for a Samuels jewelry store and then cut in. If you are getting there on the outside, it is between Lord & Taylor and Dillards. It has a main mall entrance. The mall sits so funny but I consider it the SW part of the mall. If either one of you are familiar with it, it is where there was another restaurant with an outside fireplace.

Susan, it sounds like the weather held off for you while you were at Myrtle Beach. Did you get the rain that you thought you would get? The drive home didn't sound like fun. I think that you are on a roll and should join us. That would make a cruise a year for you. Are you game?

We went to see How to lose a guy in ten days today. Good!!

When we book we will be doing the first dinner seating too. That is what we have done in the past. We usually don't do any big excursions so we have plenty of time to get back and ready for dinner.

Has anyone booked through DU?? I don't remember... I was thinking about using them this time, but I am looking to all of you for your recommendations. We will also be getting there a day early and will probably either spend a day at WDW, Sea World, or Universal. We will also be staying at the Radisson, which we LOVED last time!!

Bonnie -- Glad that the snow is working to your advantage!!:p

Have a great night everyone!!

It's OK with mme though!!! LOL!

Wow..."get her" and "mme"? Does it seem to anyone else that Bonnie might be a little preoccupied? ;)

Hey all. I still can't get on through AOL, what a pain!

I just shoveled about 6" of snow and we are supposed to get up to 4 more tonight. I am so glad we didn't get this yesterday.

Kaleigh's baptism was very nice. There were 5 babies being baptized. She looked so pretty in her dress!!!!!! The deacon did it instead of the priest. They do the baptisms on the 3rd Sunday of the month. I have to say it was one of the nicest baptisms I have been to. The whole family came up to the font and the deacon enlisted the help of the children in drying Kaleigh's hair after he poured the water. He gave them each a towel so each could help. I was afraid I was going to cry, but Kaleigh was fussy. It was her nap time, she hates to sit and she is teething big time. She finally fell asleep. It was funny, because some people that were there for the baby in front of us told us they were paying attention to Kaleigh because she was so cute! We went back to the house for the party and Kaleigh slept through most of it. We woke her up for the presents. The cake was so pretty ( we got it at Samosky's bakery by your house, Julie). My friends took pictures with their digital camera. I just need to unzip them and then I can send them. We wer going to take her up and have her pictures taken today, but we were exhausted and it was snowing all day. We will go this week.

Julie: I hope the Big Guy and you are feeling better today.

Sue: It sounds like you had a great time!

Bonnie: Is Glenn still snowed in?

I am ready to go on a cruise now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO he is no longer allowed to lurk I will introduce him to you all. No he did not make it out tonight...has to stay till tomorrow. Darn! LOL!...I did the "happy dance!"

Here's Glenn....

Glenn:Snow snow more snow, I thought Chicago got alot. When they were talking about maybe 30" last night i was wondering if i would have to stay all week. Well we only had something like 20" so Ill be able to fly out tomorrow night. Had a gread Valentines day and a birthday here too. Got to tell you that Bonnie is a great cook. Been snowed in and having fun since Sat. Got one more day mmm... See you out here from time to time. Glenn. :D
