Thankyou all for the welcome homes and all your interveiw support and for all the offers for references you are all just so kind to me, I've don't think i've ever met such a great group of people and I don't think I ever will.

Well I have to say I had such an amazing time. Of course I spent the first week doing the Western, then whilst on-board I booked to do the Eastern the next week (I booked it on the Wednesday, Cozumel day), I'd checked the DCL internet site and saw they still had great deals available so I spoke to Candace the on-board sales manager (She was Excellent) she got me a great deal and I got a $200 on-board credit.

Of course the best bit was that again I didn't tell Lorenzo I was staying on for a second week (I'm getting good at this) and he was shocked again but I think he has now got used to me and I don't suprise him as much anymore! I am so glad I stopped on because it was on the second week that everything started to happen. I managed to speak to the F&B Manager on-board and he was excelent and I also managed to make an appointment to speak with the HR Manager and he was amazing, he managed to organise it all so that I could have an interveiw back in Orlando and I was so lucky to see him as he had just got back of vacation.

Then when I got off the ship I went over to Port Orleans and I was booked there until Thursday on a great Annual Pass rate (Thanks to Candace again). I ended up extending my stay until Sunday as I couldn't get a flight on the Thursday.

I'm sorry Susan but I couldn't get one through Charlotte, I ended up flying via the Dudette's teratory, flying with Continental from Orlando to Newark, NJ and then onto Birmingham, England which is perfect for me as it's really close to where I live. The flight up to Newark was full but then the flight over to England was very quiet and they gave me an exit row seat which was excellent, I actually managed to get some sleep on the plane!

Well I'll post again soon, I just e-mailed a copy of my C.V. to the lady that interveiwed me as she wanted me to send another copy. I also put in a request for the Disney Magic!!!

I'm dying to know which cruise you liked better, what kind of questions they asked you, and whether or not you will be on the magic or wonder? PLEASE give us more info! Sandy, if you wanted to place an order, the shipment will come directly to you. If you wanted to and had a few friends or family members that would like something too (min of 5 orders), they can order and you would be considered a catalog host. You would then get points toward free stuff and then for the next year you would get a 10% discount on anything you ordered. If that is the case, just let me know and I can walk you through it. NOW, if you would like to place an order this is what you need to do:
1. take the oder form and mark the item(s) you would like.

2. add up the totals from each column

3. turn your order form over for the shipping cost (it is in the upper right hand corner of the back of the form) ie. $20 to $29.99 is $6.00.

4. add the shipping and handling charge to the column total

5. apply your states sales tax to the total

and that's it!

if I have completely confused you, just let me know what you want and I can punch it into the computer and tell you your total. We accept visa, mastercard, discover and checks. Krista check in before the big ski trip...I went skiing once at a local hill here...actually the only hill in So. Jersey...it is now a gaolf course. Ryan was 5 and we each took a lesson. Fun but never repeated it.

I'm here!! I've been swamped at work this week and it will continue through next week at least. I'm facilitating several conversion sessions to be sure we are ready for our next conversion weekend in February. Also, Paul is going out of town for the next few days. He is leaving this morning. Turner has hockey practice this evening so I may not be back on for a while. Gotta run - gonna be late AGAIN!

I hope that I can get rid of this cough by the weekend. On Sunday John and I are taking Kristen to see Mama Mia. John's aunt is in on the surprise. She lives up north about 2 hours away kind of on the way to Appleton where the show is. She called Kristen and told her that we need to come up and fix her computer and that with "construction" on the roads we should detour towards Appleton. She even asked Kristen to wear the new outfit that she gave her for Christmas (which will be perfect for the show!!) Aunt Joanie loves being in on the surprise!! We aren't going to actually tell Kristen until we get to the theatre. She will absolutely die!!!

Can you tell I am ready to burst as I'm telling you this (and isn't it fitting that I'm listening to Go The Distance from Hercules as I'm writing this!)

Well here's the news!!!

I got a call from DCL yesterday, from the Food & Beverage recruiter he told me he had some good news for me and then went on to tell me that my interview had been sucessful and that I had been accepted!!!!!!

He then went on to tell me that he didn't have any positions available right now but that he would like me to get my police background check and Medical done because they usual take a few weeks so that I would then be all ready to go as soon as they need me.

I have my medical booked for next wednesday, I have to travel down to London, and I have just posted the form this evening that I got from the police for my background check.

WELL I'M JUST BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS AT THE MOMENT!!!!

Also he told me that he had got my request for a preference to be on the Disney Magic and he said that he had noted it but that due to operational needs there might be a chance that they would have to put me on the Wonder, but it seemed like he was really going to try and get me the Magic!!!

Bonnie - Yes, don't worry I still have my job at McDonalds and I'm still beavering away to get some money together ready to go out to DCL!!!

Darren I am so happy for you...I can't think of a better job for a young person than to be on a Disney ship....think of the experience you are going to have and the stories to tell.

WAY TO GO DARREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your disney family is soooooooooo proud of you! We knew you could do it! You will have to let us know the minute they call you to report to the ship! I can't wait to tell people that I know a young man who we met on our Oct cruise who is now working on the ship!!!!!! That is some accomplishment! You should be proud that they accepted you. (even though we all knew they would) I have heard it is one of the toughest cruise ship lines to get hired for!

Garry, myself, Makenzie, and the Big Guy are proud of you and can't wait for you to be our server when we set sail again! WAY TO GO!
