Mom Sorry I didn't come over yesterday. I was really crabby and tired you would not have wanted me there. We didn't get home from church then lunch until about 2:30. I STILL am sorting and organizing Christmas stuff so I worked on that. Then we had family night playing cards with the kids. Bob was not very nice to me he stuck me with extra unnessary points and went out. I was ready to hurt him bad!!! I think next weekend will be less hectic so we will try again!

Denine- I am sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I lost my last grandparent over a year ago. She was so ready to die. She lived to be in her 90ies. Although she was suffering and ready I still miss her. She was an absolute wonderful Grandma. She made everything from scratch and was so fun in her younger years. I will never forget how she would ride rollar coasters and not hang on! Hands flying in up in the air. She left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. I feel blessed to of had her in my life for as long as I did.

Darren where are you?? Are you working on the Magic?? Check in!!

Lori and Sandy- Still waiting on the lunch date!! We need to celebrate Julie's 40th birthday!!! I will bring Mom.

Bonnie- How are those ceilings coming along?

Julie- You are such a kick. Glad to hear you have joined the family!! But lets just remember who is the real child and who is the adopted one!!!

Denine - I'm very sorry to hear about your Grandma. Expected or not, it's still hard.

We are FREEZING up here!!!!! It is SOOOO cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did NOT have our annual Super Bowl party yesterday and I think I am a much better person today for it! We usually have a chili cook off (with prizes) and about 75 people here. I just ran out of time this year.

Starting to organize our end of year hockey tournament. The kids had such a great time over Christmas they want to do it again!

Off to take the kids to a play group and pick up a couple of kids on the way. Have a great day all!

Kaleigh has decided that she doesn't need to sleep today. So, she is laying on the floor in here with me.

I don't know if I will get a chance to check in the next couple of days. Tomorrow is the social worker at noon for the monthly visit, then Jerry is coming home form work and we have 2 sets of calling hours. The funeral is on Wednesday at 11 AM with the cemetery and lunch to follow.

I have two cats walking in front of my computer because they want me to feed them.

Julie: my grandma's notice is in the Plain Dealer today if you are interested. It was only supposed to be in the Medina Gazette, but my aunt changed her mind. The last name is Towslee.

Now, no bickering while I am gone!

I know you have been lurking, Krista. When I turn on my computer, there your name is.....and no posts! Hope Clare enjoys her 1st skiing trip! I swear our girls were born with skiis on. They skied from about 2 years old on and then every Saturday. They still love to ski but not as often. They want a social life for some reason.

Yes finally after one heck of a vacation I'm back in the UK. I'll have to make this post quick as I'm fading fast with jet lag! I've had my cruise line interview!! It lasted around an hour and it went really well, some of the questions I was asked were quite difficult but it was fun! The person interviewing me seemed impressed and kept saying how easy I was to interview (I'm taking that as a good sign!), so I'm now very happy and really excited. She explained the next steps to me about the medical and background check I'll need to go through and the applying for the visa. All of my details are now to be passed on to the actual Food & Beverage recruiter who should get back to me soon.

So it's all happening and coming together so well! Hopefully I shouldn't have too much more time to wait!

I'm sooo excited!

Julie knows I love her!!! I couldn't ask for a better little sis! Of course there are the rest of my sisters...Sandy who shares my laugh! Barb who shares WW and Mom! Diana-whom I envy because she is sooooo petite, something I will never be and for having the guts to wear her PJ's on deck! Lori for her wit and her terrific kids! Sue for sharing her morning coffee, Jeanne and Joyce for being dudettes, Laurie-for her gusto-running up to me in the terminal telling me she's Laurie the Lurker! Denine-for keeping Julie in line in OH. Krista for her class and ability to throw together a dinner party for 21 people at the last minute!

Of course then there are the brothers! Ted-for having a heart of gold! Ben for his wit to match Lori-knocking on Palo's window with the kids! Garry-well now...I have to think about that one! He may be the terror brother-there is one in every family. Paul for offering to look out for me in December LOL! That's it for the brothers...the other hubby's I didn't get to know much.

Then there is Darren! The prodical son where ever he is!! I hope he is ok...I am really starting to worry!

And Mom...for being a terrific mom!

What fun did you get into? How cold was it in Florida? When do you think you will hear back from DCL? Why didn't you stop in Charlotte on your way so I could have snuck into your luggage for a 2 (make that 3) week vacation!!!

Well.......I've been reading forever trying to catch up with y'all. I was on page 84 and had to go to 109! In that time, I've gained two sisters! Welcome to the family.....the more the merrier. Thanksgiving is at my house!

Santa Fe is about 4 1/2 hours away from us Krista.....wish I was going skiing too. We didn't even get there once last winter and we'll have to hurry to make this year. It's really fun to hit the casinos on the reservation at night too.

When did you turn 40 Barb? In November of what YEAR? heehee...glad I'm not that old

Mom, I won't tell Dad about that crabby crack you made a few pages ago....or was it a lot of pages ago? My life is soooo crazy this time of year.

Denine, my condolences on the loss of your Grandma. That's always tough.

This Thelma, Louise, and Barb trip sounds pretty scary too.... I'd never think of driving over the speed limit though.......

My girls are VERY excited about the 10-04 cruise. Now they can talk everybody's ear off like we do. I want them to get on the board and see what this is all about. I'm not sure they really understand it but they have stopped giving me "that look"
