Sandy: I met CathyCanada on our 10-12 cruise. She is very nice. I am glad your car is fine.

Diana: Have a safe trip and a wonderful Christmas!

Bonnie: Loved your admirer story. I can bake my own bread too!

Julie: I believe the cookbook should be by category. It is much easier to follow that way. You can just put who the recipe is from on each one.

Garry: Deliver cookies? Am I Santa?

My last batch of cookies is done. Stop me though. I am having the urge to make gingerbread men.

I actually spent a ittle time in the kitchen today, too. Nothing fancy just some Chex Mix and a roast for dinner!!

Today's big revelation from Turner. He knows who Santa is!!!!:(

We told him he better keep the Christmas spirit in his heart and continue to believe or Santa would not come. He did say he still believe in Mickey Mouse because he's somthing real!!!!!

We've also been painting some porcelain ornaments as a family. That was fun but I seemed to have made the biggest mess. I even have paint on my elbow!

Turner also went on a bike ride with the neighbors (Dad, and 3 sons). They rode for about 10 miles along a local greenway. I was smart enough to know to continue to stay indoors.

Julie/Garry - the panthers won again today. I'm keeping an eye on the Browns. Thet're only down by 3 at the half!!! Go Browns (give Jule and Garry a Christmas pressent with a WIN)!!!

How did Turner find out?? Is he just too smart? My son had to be told when he was 12!!!!! You could still sell hime the Brooklyn Bridge! LOL!

Tree is 1/2 up. Yea!!!!!

Well, the tree is up. Barely. After putting on most of the ornaments I had to move it closer to the window. While moving the tree the stand cracked and the tree started a slow tilt forward. There I am standing there, all alone holding up the tree with no one to help! Using legs, feet, hands I managed to prop it up as I reached for something to try to stabilze it.
It is no up on a wing and a prayer with my favorite hand painted Santa decoration under the stand. One little breeze or bump and the tree will fall.

Well, that's my day! I hope you all have a good evening. I imagine we won't be hearing from many of you over the next few days. Happy Holidays to those who are lurking!!

He just figured it out on his own. At least he is smart enough to know Mickey is real. All of Walt's friends are real. They are my friends too. Nobody can tell me otherwise!!

Bonnie, I pray your tree stays up!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!
What a fun bunch!! Sandy invited to pop in and at first, I couldn't find the thread, but here you are! Nice to see some familiar faces (waves at Denine and hopes Kayleigh is doing well!).

It appears that you are all anxious to book 2004. :) I believe that the post-April 7-night cruises will be available to book on the 30th. Everything is subject to change, but that is what I heard. Fortunately they decided against the Mediterranean cruise idea. With only 2 ships, I couldn't see them taking one out of commission here to do that itinerary, but they didn't ask for my 2 cents of course!! ;)

Group bookings consist of 8 staterooms or more and discounts are dependent upon the time of year. There is usually an amenity offered as well, such as a group reception/cocktail party (may be shared with other groups) or a gift basket or a bottle of wine or champagne in the stateroom. The amenity must be the same for everyone in the group. There is also a tour conductor credit for the person who co-ordinates the group (unless you want to bring your Dreams agent along to help co-ordinate your activities! LOL). The credit is free voyage fare for one person. This is the procedure for the groups now but I have no idea if they will be changing it for 2004, haven't done a group booking for then, yet.

Hope this helps and I will try to pop back and answer any questions if I can.

Until then, happy holidays to you all!!
Cathy

It has been a really busy day - Church, food shopping, hospital visit, cleaning & cookie baking. The countdown is on.......

Bonnie just can't get used to how attractive she is and it is going to take her a little while to get used to the attention!

I am getting very excited:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

GOOOOOOO EAGLES :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Toodles  :earsgirl: Jeanne

Busy day for us here too! Church and then John was off to work and Kristen was off to John's sisters to get together with her cousins to do cutout cookies. That left me a few hours to finish wrapping, etc, etc, etc........

Now its off to bed as I have to be at work tomorrow at 6:00 a.m.

I will be sure to check-in during the day tomorrow. It's just me and my boss all day tomorrow :(

Bonnie -- good luck with the tree. Mine is finally finished!! Our new Disney ornaments look great on it!!

Fa la la la la....la la la la !!:bounce:

Ok it is official! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LAURIE AND JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I was MIA on the board on Sunday. I was doing last minute shopping!:earseek: I will probably check in one or two times tomorrow since I have to finish my wrapping! I got a lot done today, but there is just the finishing touches! I feel like I am sooooooooooo behind this year! I think I really need that extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I haven't gotten to baking cookies yet. Maybe I will get some baked today!

Bonnie, sorry to hear about your tree. I hope it stays up for you!

and.........GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We WON!!!!!!!!!!! And the best part is, we beat the Ravens and kicked them out of the playoff hunt! How sweet it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As of right now, we are still in the playoff hunt, but even if we get kicked out of the playoff hunt.......the Ravens were out first because WE kicked them out by beating them today!!!!!!!!!!!!

In case I miss some of you, HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! Please be safe and healthy for the holidays! We will always be here for one another!

Get it?

Well the tree is still standing!!! I'm afraid to put the monorail under it or presents though! As long as it makes it through next Sunday.

Thank you CanadaCathy for the information. Heck, We'll have 8 cabins with Barb & Mom and their group alone!! LOL! If a group is 8 cabins, maybe we can be a couple of groups then get the tour director for a couple of people then split it. Hey we may save $5 each. LOL!

Ok.. off to work. I think all business, commerece etc. should close before Christmas. Nobody gets any real work done! Except hospitals...sorry Jeanne & Lori.

Take care all

Good Morning.

Happy Anniversary Laurie and John!!

Happy Birthday Eve, Garry!!

Quiet here last night. We watched A Christmas Story yet again. I'm sure we'll have it on again on Christmas Day!

Have a great day everyone!!

Gooood Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

And A Very Merry (Almost Christmas)!!!

I think I am finally done with all the shopping. I am going to stuff stockings tonight to make sure they all have about the same amount.

Happy Anniversary Laurie and John!! Feels like we are old buddies now that the Disney ornaments are happily hanging on your tree. I am so glad you liked them. They seemed to be popular at our local Disney store.

Happy Birthday Garry. Jaymee's birthday is New Years eve. Do you feel you kind of got gipped out of a birthday because it is so close to Christmas. I told Jaymee to look at the bright side there is ALWAYS going to be a party on her birthday!!

Tonight we will be going to the Electric Safari at the Zoo. It should be good and cold. But it will be fun.

Disney 2004 Reunion cruise.... Can't wait!!!

Thank you Cathy for popping in. Yes, we are a fun bunch. We are interested in October 2004.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, LAURIE AND JOHN!!!!!! Doing any celebrating today?

Hope your tree is still up, Bonnie. After all that hard work it has to stay up for at least a couple of days!

Taking my kids and my niece and nephew to get their pictures taken together. They practically grew up as siblings so we try to do this periodically. It is a secret for their parents, my brother.

Miss you, Lori. Let's have lunch after your busy work schedule.

Merry soon to be Christmas!

Yes... the new Disney ornaments are strategically placed on our tree. Kristen insisted that Minnie & Mickey be next to each other....like I was going to do anything differently :D Barb they are just perfect. You guy are lucky that you have a Disney store close by. They closed the one at our mall last year :( and we really miss it!!

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes. Julie -- we love the yahoo card. No big plans to celebrate tonight because I am sure that John will be at the jewelry store into the wee hours..:p
Hopefully we will go out for a quiet dinner at our favorite spot on Friday night when things start to settle down.

I don't think that I mentioned this on the boards, but John just found out that he is diabetic. Not a good time of the year to get this news with all the treats, etc. We are going to try to manage it by diet first and see if that works. Hopefully he will comply....I think that he has had a wake up call since his cousin died of complications of diabetes in his late 30's. We will have to see what happens.

Have a great day everyone!!
-- Laurie

Finally...

I can't believe we're so close to Christmas now, I finally finished my Christmas shopping today (woops left that a bit late). I'd like to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

ALSO...
I received something else today!!! Something that has brought me a big boost of excitement!!! Can anyone guess what it is?

Happy Anniversary! Happy Anniversary! Happy Anniversary! Laurie & John.

Trying to get a jump on Christmas cooking since I am working Christmas Eve. My stuffing is made & the whole house smells great! Baked cookies yesterday. I would love to make my sweet potatoes but forgot to buy them & don't have the energy to go out in that crowd so when my daughter comes home I am going to send her on a "quest". The house is clean except for that daily vacuuming you have to do because of the dog.

Poor Bonnie. I "guilted" her into putting up her tree and now it is doing nothing but causing her grief.:(

I hope you all have the HAPPIEST & MERRIEST CHRISTMAS ever!

Toodles:earsgirl:  Jeanne Lynn Frances Russian-Wolf alias Disney Dudette #2

Darren- good to see you back on the board! I sent you a
Christmas card too but I didn't put enough postage so I will
send another one but it will probably arrive when you are on your cruise you lucky dog!

Bonnie: Sorry about your tree! Hopefully it will stay up long enough. My friend works at the Paramus Park Mall Disney Store.

Darren: How wonderful for you! I hope you have a terrific time. I will be interested to hear your thoughts on the Western cruise.

Laurie & John: Happy Anniversary!

Garry: Happy birthday a day early!

Tomorrow we attempt to take Kaleigh to church for the first time. The service is at 4PM. Her foster mom used to take her all the time, but she was also sleeping a lot more then. Jerry likes to go at 7AM on Sundays. I refuse to wake Kaleigh up at 6AM to take her to church.

I don't know if I will have a chance to sign on tomorrow. Our phone didn't work for several hours today. Jerry panicked and came home. He thought something happened to us because the phone just kept ringing and ringing on his end. All I received was a dialtone. It was a problem with the phone company and they fixed it this afternoon.

I finally finished my vacation photo album!!!!!!

CathyCanada: Thanks for popping in! Kaleigh is doing great!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
