Good morning everyone! I'm here and JUST getting ready for bed! I couldn't sleep so I stayed up and read about the Magic and the sick people. They said that the ship will leave several hours later today do to the disinfecting thing. AND that if they think there is real reason to POSSIBLY cancelling this cruise. How interesting! There was a guy on this past cruise who was posting on the boards keeping people updated. Said that the weather at Castaway Cay was HORRIBLE! 4 to 8 foot waves! Said it was raining and just horrible. Did get off the ship in the late afternoon. Said it was cloudy and the water was cold. Also said he took pictures of cast members wearing masks and hazardous material jumpsuits spraying the benches on Castaway Cay with bleach! Said that the bike rentals, adult beach, cast beach, all excrusions etc. on the island were closed! They did offer refunds with no questions asked. His name was KenP I believe. They were going to have another captain's party with free alcohol beverages firday to try to take away the "bummer of a trip". He was reporting on the cruiseline board so if anyone was interested in what he had to say. I feel so sorry for those people! I'm sure glad we went when we did!

Julie-I see you were still up when I got up this morning but I didn't think anyone would be here so did n't log on until I got my coffee.
I went to the tech board and followed the clipart instructions to add Baloo & King Louie.

I am doing much better today. Thank you all for cheering me up last night.

2 weeks from now I will be getting ready to leave for the airport on my marathon flying 6 hour flight to WDW! It will be cool to check out all the different airports!

Yes Sue, I will only have a little over an hour in Charlotte. I may call you from the airport though. Tell Turner you can't win them all but as long as you try your hardest that's all that counts. We all have our off days.

Again Denine and Jerry-she is a beautiful princess!!! Worth every sleepless night and medical bill! Such a joy!

Thank you all so much for the Birthday greetings. I really had a good birthday this year. Last night Bob and I and the girls went to Red Lobster. It was to late to go to the newest James Bond movie. (I love James Bond) so after we got home I just went to bed. (Shaould have checked the boards, bad Barb)!! Then I could have put in my 2cents worth too on the fight for Bonnie. Betseen me and Lori maybe we could have convinced her to come to Colorado. Hey Julie you guys come too! Problem solved! I am not having 30 people only a few.

How is everyone seeing pictures of Keligh? I want to see her! I can never figure out where you guys are going to find all these pictures.

Gee...I could gain some major weight here. Lets see fly out early on Thursday, Layover in Cleveland for one meal...on to CO for a couple more...return trip with a layover in Charlotte for another. At that point I get charged extra for overweight baggage. ME! Of course I would have gotten rid of the 40 lbs of mashed potatoes and 10 cheesecakes along the way.

Alas, I will go to PA for Thanksgiving with a smile on my face and all I am asked to bring is a bottle of wine.

Darren: Why are you looking at cruise prices??? You will be working for them by then!!!!

Trying to get some things done so I can enjoy my 4 day Thanksgiving holiday! Of course I have to leave the computer on just in case anyone checks in!

OK I'll add another 20# with 3 CO families! Any snow out there yet? or only in the mountains? It is freezing here today. They were saying yesterday that we may get flurries this weekend. I think they tease us just so we'll keep checking the weather each day.

Bonnie - Sorry, I was only looking at the cruise prices for academic reasons, I really hope that I'll be working for DCL by then.

I hope everyone is keeping my fingers crossed for me. I am just trying to push on until the end of January by which time I should definatly know the exact time and place for my interview. I heard that positions can start as soon and the week after the interveiw (I'm hoping if I got it that mine would be as soon as possible! ). I am definatly available anytime for them!

Well, with Thanksgiving fast approaching for all of you (something we don't have, it will just me a normal day for me) I hope you will all ship me over some of that Turkey and Pumpkin Pie (or at least think of me whilst eating it!!!). You know I love pumpkin pie but it's something that you just cannot seem to get over here.

Turkey with stuffing
Whipped potates
Candied yams
string beans
cranberry sauce
crescent rolls
lasagne (my DIL is Italian, have to have that every holiday)
asparagas
soup
salad

Dessert:
Pumpkin pie
Apple pie (mom makes the best)
cheese cake

Then Football

Then pick at the turkey and stuffing

Friday:
SHOPPING!!!!

The concensus on this thread is that just about all of us are talking Oct 2004 reunion/repeat cruise.
We all have to decide dates western vs eastern etc. Barb even looked for the dates but they weren't available yet.
It gives us time to save up. I know the Dudettes are definately in.
I hope your there! And if it's your month off you'll just have to stay on board as a guest!

Hi All! I couldn't get on until after the Ohio Stat / Michigan game inwhich OHIO STATE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They went undefeated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barb, I fowarded Kaleigh's picture to you.( I just looked and I sent it to your home email. I jsut sent it to your work email) When I sent the picture out last night I thought I made sure I had everyone, sorry I missed you. We went to Denine and Jerry's last night and got to see Kaleigh in person. When we got home, Denine emailed us the picture of Kaleigh and I thought I would share it with all of you.

I know Lori cooks for her family, I just had to get some "dings" on her since we were fighting over Bonnie! LOL

BY THE WAY........ WE ASKED FOR BONNIE FIRST SO WE GET HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I'll be nice, YOU Colorado people can have her for Thanksgiving BUT............ WE GET HER FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fair is fair!! We all will come to Colorado for Thanksgiving and everyone can come here for Christmas! Sound good?

You can't go to CO at Thankgiving because the first dinner will be with you guys in OH during a layover then off to CO. Unless you leave for CO with me for the 3 dinners out there then back thru NC for dinner with Sue, Paul and Turner!

Did I tell everyone: My mom's biopsy was neg. SO some good news.

Hey, we just found out that Garry's vacation he took for the cruise was marked ODI instead of vacation, so WE DO have a week of vacation left!!!

I'm bringing 40LBS of mashed potatoes and 10 cheesecakes to CO and NC. Are you bringing anything?
We have to coordinate this everyone-Early dinner in OH say 11 am then off to CO for dinner at 3, 4 & 5PM then to NC for dinner at 8PM.
And we'll drag Darren along too!
