Roll Call. Oct.19,02 Cruisers Continued...

I just got in. Spent $12 to see my son, sat at the bar, couldn't see much. Sounded great! Break came and he came over, a friend of his from HS/College came and said hi, kiss on the cheek told a story and then Ryan went off somewhere and left me to continue to sit at the bar by myself throughout the whole break. Came over just before the second set was to start and said I guess I better get up there. I said goodbye and left. And he doesn't understand why I get upset. I haven't seen him in over 2 months!
Now I get home to an email from the wife wondering why I didn't respond to her email she sent me the other day that upset me horribly! I don't want to go over there for Thanksgiving now. But I know I have to.

I've vented. I imagine all are asleep by now. Sorry.

I will read the posts now.

Bonnie I'm so sad that you're sad! You are the happiest person I know and here you are being brought down. Don't they see that you are So so full of Love that it hurts? Come to our place for Thanksgiving, there's only going to be about 36 guests (Mom's house, whew) so you will fit right in! I know you have to go. Look for the good in everyone there (bring a magnifier if necessary) and let the rest roll off. That's what works for me with my Step-mom. LOL

Seriously, Bonnie, don't take what a 24 yr old does (especially male) to heart. Kids drift at that age, but then they mature and realize what you mean to them. Take it from me, I was a handful at that age.

Thank you all! I am sitting here sobbing and trying to type at the same time.
I just don't understand it. I gave my life to him. I was not a mother who went out all the time, I went to every concert, marching band competition, ran the band boosters for 2 years. Didn't go back to school in the evenings because I wanted to be there for him. I guess I expect too much now that he is older. I'll get over it.

Garry - I'll come up with something tomorrow. Not in the mood now . Sorry-no income tomnight!
