BY THE WAY........ WE ASKED FOR BONNIE FIRST SO WE GET HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I'll be nice, YOU Colorado people can have her for Thanksgiving BUT............ WE GET HER FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fair is fair!! We all will come to Colorado for Thanksgiving and everyone can come here for Christmas! Sound good?

OK, I give up. Lori gets Bonnie for Thanksgiving and Julie gets her for Christmas...but....

The Schrolls get her for the 11/29/2003 DISNEY MAGIC CRUISE!!!!! Everyone is welcome too instead of waiting around for 2004!!!

Hello to all. I have been so busy with work and thinking that I had to have all of my X-mas shopping done this weekend (why, who knows...).

Bonnie, I cried when I knew you were crying. I was just thinking, what a fun, loving person, when I read the dreaded report. I think you should just disown the both of them for awhile. Let them run their selfish little lives. They will come back running.

Kaleigh is soooo cute. Clare liked her shirt. Hey, that's good for a 3-year-old.

Julie, I am having a hard time opening up the lists, since I don't have word perfect. I am sure David could help me on this, but he hasn't been home in weeks. Yikes. I'll try again tonight.

I am so excited for the gift exchange. What to buy, oh what to buy. Usually my motto is, if they sell it on the internet, you can have it. I hate the physicality of shopping in stores. Too many people not knowing what they are doing.
Do people not realize that "CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IS NOT FOR AMATEURS!!" But then, neither is grocery shopping.

I am so glad we have all bonded enough to keep in touch. The sickness on the ships looks gross. Glad we had the top 1/2 stuff, versus the bottom 1/2 stuff, if you know what I mean.

Glad you checked in with us!!!
Ill answer some of your questions but it may be another week before you read them!

To remove the time thing at the bottom Click on CP from the Posting area and then Edit Profile and delite the infomation from your Signature. You could replace it with the Oct. 2004 if we had a date!

The list did eventually get sent in MSword format if you have MS Office on your computer. If you don't have that version let us know and one of us can forward it.

As far as dis-owning...I can't do it. I am the one who hurts the most and anyway I would look like the bad guy again. The wife doesn't seem to understand that I don't say to much because whatever I say gets turned around into sounding like I said something wrong. Oh well. I just have to grin and bear it. Sometimes it affects me more than others.

Have fun Christmas shopping! Don't go overboard like I used to do. Ryan would get tired of opening the gifts! Until he was 4 then (the year I swore I would cut back) he said when finished, "Is that all there is?" Couldn't win!

OK, so I am away from the board for less than 24 hrs, and I see that we are in the midst of a bidding match for Bonnie. Well Bonnie, let me tell you I think that WISCONSIN is the place for you......lets see first of course stop off in OHIO and see cruise crew there, then stop of by us in WISCONSIN and then hop over to COLORADO to see the rest of the crew there!! See its simple!! I am sure that you all don't mind sharing, right?????

Barb: My Mickey Tree doesn't have garland but I got this idea from looking at different trees. It has curling ribbon from the top of the tree down & the colors match the lights (all primary colors) & on the top of the tree instead of an angel or star I have a stuffed Mickey in Christmas P.J.'s. I do have some Mickey garland but it is too much with all the ornaments.

Darren: Glad you are checking in! We all do have our fingers crossed for you and wish you good luck.

It took me 30 minutes to get through all the postings. I do have to work! I just didn't have time to check the board today at work.

OK - since you all will have eaten so much by the time you get to NC, how about I just provide the dessert buffet. Won't promise it will be as overwhelming as the MAGIC's dessert buffet but here's a sampling of what I'll offer (all homemade, of course):

Hi everyone! Just checking in! I just wanted to let everyone know to keep their eye open for their mailperson! The LISTS have been mailed out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your envelope will include:

1. The guidelines to the gift exchange

2. A list of everyone who is participating in the exchange with the family you have HIGHLIGHTED

3. The OFFICIAL LIST of home addresses, phone numbers, etc

4. The birthday and anniversary list

(ok, can you tell I was a teacher?)

I'm so excited that you will be getting a "hard copy" of all the lists. (For those families who are not doing the gift exchange, your envelope will just contain #3 and #4 of the above)

Now instead of waiting for our cruise docs, we can wait for this! (ok it's not as exciting, but it's something)!

Sue the dessert buffet looks wonderful!! What is Midori pound cake? Is that made with the Midori Liquor? That sound wonderful. And Pecan Pie-my favorite!

It was awfully quiet here last night! I guess everyone is busy getting ready for the marathon Thanksgiving.

Midori Pound Cake is a very simple cake to make and YES is has Midori liqueur in it and in the glaze. It is very sweet but absolutely wonderful! I'll send you the recipe later but it is sometimes on a hanging bottle tag when you buy the Midori. It is a very festive cake for Christmas but I can eat it anytime!
