We don't have APs but were fortunate that a very very very nice fellow-DISer offered to get tickets for us!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... can't say it enough!

We got the tickets in the mail today for Friday, Oct 21st!
Still don't know what to go as though.... ideas?

Going on the 22nd, Saturday night. I don't even know who is going with me and DD, so I bought 6 tickets.
They were super fast, I ordered Monday by phone and received them on Wed.

I'll be there with DH2B, my dad and step-dad on the 21st, too!! The 21st is also my step-dad's birthday so it will be extra fun for us!!

My dad bought the tickets over the phone yesterday morning and the lady said they were pretty much sold out for all nights!! Thank goondess he called when he did, I am really looking forward to this (Halloween is my favorite holiday)!! I hope DL is open late that night, or at least later than 10:30, so we can hit HMH afterward!

Does anyone know how many tickets were sold for each night?

They're sold out already? We were hoping to get tickets when we got our AP's in August. That seems quick. Does anyone know if they'll have more tickets for general public or not? My boys will be so disappointed.

I ordered 2 tickets online last Thursday. I bought tickets for the 28th. Not sure if we will use them, but I didn't want to have them sell out and then not be able to get any. I will definite post if we will not be using.

Although it would be super cool to go as Steamboat Willie!

...especially if you could find a nautical steering wheel to carry around with you (painted gray of course! )

Just checked and all 4 dates are still available.
Unfortunately, they don't give any indication of how many tickets are left.

I bet lots of AP holders who were planning to buy tickets were on the phones or online within the first day or so, I wouldn't be at all surprised if sales had slowed down a lot by now.

I would think Disney would make sure tickets are available for the September release since they've posted those dates.

Sure hope there will be tickets available for the general public. DH and I will be there and are hoping to go on the 28th. Guess I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!

I think I'm going to go as Wendy in her nightgown, that way I don't have to worry about being uncomfortable. LOL I'm not sure if DH2B will dress up, but I may try to get him to as Michael, or at least John. I should have my dad & step-dad dress up as Captain Hook and Mr. Smee!!!!

Have you given any more consideration to your costumes? Maybe you could go as Si and Am....

I have a Sally costume that I wore to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party at WDW a few years ago. I'll probably just wear that again. Although I've been eyeing the Cruela costume on Disney Deals (may go with that). If I go as Sally, I want to try to get my son a Jack Skellington costume but haven't seen them at Disney for a long time. We talked about matching like that last year, but didn't do anything Disney for Halloween. I always thought it would be cute to be Cruella and have him be a Dalmation, but now that he's 9 and almost as tall as me, it wouldn't be so cute anymore.

We will be there on the 22nd!!! I am excited because my son (7) has never dressed up for halloween. He will not put on a costume so halloween is usually not much fun. He loves Disney so I will get to have some halloween fun this year as well!! Any ideas for a 7 year old boy costume that would not be seen by him as wearing a costume?

How about just a red shirt with mouse ears, he can sort of be a Mickey. Maybe even get him in some yellow shorts? Or as a Mousekeeter, white shirt with a Mickey Mouse Club logo and mouse ears? He could just carry around a pirate sword and maybe wear a bandana, if you could get him to? White sweatshirt and white pants could pass for a ghost.
