Well.............I think she's finaaly gone. Thankfully, we never lost power. I'll chalk that up to us living in a new subdivision with under ground utilities. We do now have a LARGE leak in Kelly's window, thanks to beating rain. Can you say, "New carpet and drywall"? Other than that, we are VERY lucky!!!!!!!!!! (however, last night I was SURE our pool's solar panals were going air born!)

Hope the rest of you Floridians weathered this thing as well as we did.

Well, I talked to Tim and Kamy (tarzanman and Kamgen) today, and the poor things were stuck at Epcot... eating lunch in France... drinking expensive wine. Tough day huh? Let's just hope they have a Ft. Lauderdale to go home to!! (If not, you guys can come live with me! )


Today is my DW's birthday! Everyone say "Happy Birthday Ronnie!!!" She's 26 again, I think.

A mere 44 days until we leave for Florida...

So where's my DOCS?!! Gimme!!

My mom is in Pompano. She lives in a condo off the beach, she has power and everything is fine. I even spoke with her today. Maybe her (your cousin's) server/phone line is down.

We are going on the morning Capt. Marvin's tour - 10AM to 1PM. We are taking our kids; not exactly 'little ones' though - they're 12 and 14.

At least, we HOPE we're going on the Capt. Marvin excursion! Last time, the Magic couldn't stop at Cayman because of weather, so we missed it. But it was all good - we had a blast that night in Cozumel instead! At least that's what they tell me; I can't remember much!


I have no idea if my beloved Castaway Cay got creamed by Frances. I pray it didn't... Gotta have my CC, man!

I can't believe that we have to cruise without Butch and Vicki Patterson! What a bummer?

Kamgen and I made it through the hurricane like Beano said. We sat in our room at Saratoga Springs for two days and waited for the weather to calm down. We went to EPCOT in the rain on Monday and walked onto everything that we wanted to do. We actually had to wait for people to join us on Mission Space. It was so weird. Dana - Remember 240 minutes at New Years?

The wind was crazy and there are a lot of trees down. The golf courses were littered with trees and debris. WDW with its underground utilities is a great place to be during a storm though. We never had a power problem. Things here in Ft. Lauderdale are ok. Power is still not fully restored everywhere. We have power though.

On another note, today Kamgen and I became official FL residents and finally have our Driver's lisences. Yeehaw!!!

It was a working holiday & also my weekend so I ended up working Saturday, off Sunday, worked Monday & Tuesday. I did manage to go down to Cape May on my day off & had a fun day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Belated) RONNIE!

I got my passport last Friday but no doc's yet. I am getting VERY EXCITED. I can't wait for the cruise!

Busy day today - food shopping, laundry, dog care & took down the red, white & blue decorations (which have been up since Memorial Day) & put up the fall decorations. Also planted some mums. I didn't have the heart to take down the "Pray for Peace" flag.

Hope you all had a more relaxing day. It is really hot & humid here but the rain is coming. I almost wish it would get here & cool us off! Have a great night. Toodles JEANNE

The DMV, in their infinite wisdom, would not issue Tim's license. (I'll let him explain!). Easy does it, Tim! Remember, Beano is going to buy you a beer to calm you down!

Well, this Saturday is sort of our "DCL Shopping Day". All the travel accessories, shampoos, camcorder tapes, etc. etc. etc. need to be purchased! I only get 2 weekends a month off, so were are short on time to do things. Besides, it's fun!

Then all I need is my DOCS!! Gimme, d*mmit!
