Roll call for the 10/23/2004 Western Magic. Who's with us?

Oooohh tarzanman, now that is a good one! Pumpkin....love it!

I haven't even started organizing or making lists! LOL! I better get to work...I need to try on some clothes and see what I am bringing so I can make up my spreadsheet! ::yes::

Dana- you can keep up....we usually don't drink too many sailaway drinks... :hyper:

I am so ready to cruise! :boat:

Ok Tim, you're getting on my last nerve. I am gonna whoop you till you're uglier than you are now. Just like Rocky Marciano did to Joe Louis.

Kamy, I am not sure how many sailaway drinks you will be treated to. No more than 30, that's for sure. That's the limit.
But there's always Sunday!

I got a feeling my bar bill is gonna be painful this year.:faint:

Redneck word: Shovelay.

"I used to drive a Ford, now a drive a Shovelay".

'Beano'

Beano! There you are!!! You would think it was time to work or something! LOL!

You know your bar bill is always painful....but it sure tastes good going down, huh??
:hyper:

Kamy, I have to work overtime to afford you! ::yes::

Just get me a beer mug and keep 'em coming; I'll worry about the bill later! LOL

Redneck word : Gubmint.

"I'll be so broke after this cruise, I'll have to apply for Gubmint aid.
I'll be eating Gubmint cheese"!

'Beano'

Sandy - Thanks for the e-mail, that big DISer brunch sound great but the only thing is I know our character breakfast will be on that morning. I don't mind skipping it but Rachel's a big big character breakfast fan so I think we might have to go to brunch on Sunday or Thursday. I would love to have a meal with You, Ted, Heidi and the Dudette's (and any other DISer's that want to come) some time though, maybe we could do lunch in Lumiere's one day?

Cheri - I hear ya, yes Tea is a bit mundane (SP?) but of course you could make it a Long Island Ice Tea!

I hope everyone's final preparations are going well. I've been busy today doing some last minute shopping for clothes (not something I really enjoy). Just 6 more days of work now and 1 day off till I fly! I don't know how I'm going to get all the packing done! :teeth:

Me sorry Beano....you no have to me me nothin! :(

Hey Dana- can you buy me a drink? :wave2:

Heheheeh! Just kidding!

I wish we were going THIS weekend! I am so excited! :boat:

I am with Darren, the only tea I drink is if there is a Long Island Ice Tea!!!

I am sure we can meet up for some meals Darren, we have 7 days, no worries!! I have heard so much about you from all the other Oct. cruisers and my mom that I would love to get to know you and Rachel!!!!

Good evening Ladies!

Since you are the only ones who may understand this, I am going to do my rejoicing here ... I have finally found a "dressy" hairstyle that goes with a tiara!!!

I had _long_ hair until June 2003. (At least 1/2 way down my back since I was a child) Now it is just barely shoulder length and I didn't have any idea how to do anything dressy with it. The few events I've attended since it was cut, I just curled the ends and pulled it back to one side - OK - but it would not work with a tiara. I have literally tried DOZENS of different things and just now finally found something I like (and I can actually do)! I even checked some books out of the library on hair styles trying to do this. It sounds stupid, but I was so excited to have found something, that I had to share it with someone. (DH wasn't any fun, his entire comment = "Good, now you can stop fussing with it.")

I cannot believe how long it is taking me to pack - I started Saturday and am still working on it as I have time....

Only 7 more work days until vacation starts! Zip-ah-dee-do-dah!

Pamela

Awesome Pamela!!!!:smooth:

Good for you! Renee and I were just atlking about our hair last ngiht! We were trying to figure out what to do on formal night! See, we all think about think about those things!! :grouphug:

I haven't started packing yet....plan to do it this weekend....and then finish up thoughout the week with the little things!

I am so ready to cruise! :boat:

Ya I was trying to get my mom to pack with me last night, but all she did was laugh at me. One of these nights I will finally annoy her about packing and she will give in!!!

I am so antsy to go on this vacation that next weeks seems like FOREVER to come. Can I just leave now.

Pamela, glad you found a hairstyle that fits. It's always the hair that causes a problem for me!! I couldn't find a tiarra I liked, yet, but there is always this friday I can go shopping!!!

Good morning friendly posters!

Do we have any karaoke freaks out there? I like to make a fool of myself and I am always looking for company.

 Hi All!

I am going to get may hair cut etc. today...gonna ask my stylist about what I can do with my hair on formal night.....we'll have to wait and see!

Tim: I thought that space was already filled by Beano! ......guess there is always room for more craziness!!!

We leave 7 days from today......gonna pick the kids up from school next Wednesday and drive on down to LAX.

"I'm going on vacation, I'm going on vacation!"

WOO-HOO!!!!:Pinkbounc

I am always up for some kareoke! I can rip some songs a new one with the best of them! Gotta put a list together, but we definitely gotta do friends in low places! Well back to work i go, had a crisis this morn with my memory, but my smarts got me through it again...impressed the boss. 9 more total days, 6 more working, unless i feel sick, cough cough hack hack.

Goodmorning Everyone,

I just thought I'd say a quick "HI"

It's a cold, gray, rainy, blustery day in good ol' Minnesota.
My cat is camping out on the heat register.

:cat: :umbrella:

This time next week we will be in a plane & on our way to...
warmth, sun, tropical breeze, and air-conditioning. :sunny:
I can't Wait! :hyper: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Pamela, congrat's on the hair. I picked up a pretty hair clip at Claire's, but I don't know if I'll use it.

:wave2: Bye for now, see ya nexy week. -Jen :)
(I just had to say that)

The only way I can get up and do Karaoke is if I am drunk!!! The last time I was on the DCL they had Karaoke night and for every song you sang, they gave you a shot!!!

SWEET!, i will come up with a big list then....lets see, some eve 6, maybe some linkin park, some country....any requests?

patrick

Back to the hair. You guys are lucky if you can settle on a style ahead of time. My hair is kinky-curly, but only when it is humid. What it looks like in Colorado has no relation to what it will look like in Florida or the Caribbean.

No karaoke here.

Carla

Carla:

I have naturally curly hair and was dumb enough to try to have it straightened...it was nice for about 3 months....then the damage began!!!
Now I am paying for it.........so I have no idea what I'm gonna look like...LOL!!!!

I enjoy watching the karaoke but wil not participate..........I have one key and thats the key of me (and even its flat...LMAO!)

Smiles,

RonnieJo:flower1:

Hmmm, Karaoke...

Yes, they always give you a shot before you 'sing'; liquid courage, as they call it. :drinking1

Problem is, karaoke only lasts for an hour, and by the time things get going, there's only time for a few songs. Just when people are getting into it (drunk enough, I mean!), they shut it down. But it's still fun. Nothing like watching Tim sing Frank Sinatra!

"Yes, I'll have the smoked chicken wings with onion rings, bring me 2 of those please. Then I'll have the snapper, and I guess the tenderloins too. For dessert..."

Sorry, just practicing. ;)

'Beano'

No Karoke for me! I am the kind that likes to blend in with the walls. Waaaay to shy for something like that. I don't even think that liquid courage could even begin to help a person like me!! But....now Heidi on the other hand is NOT like her mother!

Hair......another kinky curly hair here. I call it my cruise hair. Very uncontrollable. I am like Carla. My hair is nice here in Colorado but in FL and on the cruise there is nothing, I mean nothing that helps me. I wash and dry it right before the pics and PRAY that I will be presentable by the time I get there from the room. That is NO lie. One lady on CC told me, face it....you are going to have to start wearing a hat. "but, but, I don't always look like this" RonnieJo, aren't you the one with red hair? I think reheads are doomed for cruising hair.

A cold rainy day in CO. My FIL lives about 15 minutes away and got snow. Guess it is that time of year!

Beano, how funny. Heidi orders like that, too.
