Does WDW charge for them?

The only resort that allows you to pre-reserve/guarantee one is at the CBR and there is a $15 per night charge. All other resorts have them in a very limited quantity and you'd need to request one at check-in. We were given one at the YC because they didn't have accomodations for the 5 of us, so they put us in a 2 queen bedroom with a rollaway. We were not charged, but we only had it for one night and then we were moved to another room.

There are none at DVC resorts.

I stayed at POFQ and wanted a rollaway....

Everyone said they didn't have them there.

I got there and requested one.....sure enough they sent one right up.
I didn't get charged for it....I wonder if it is because I was already
paying for an extra adult

May I ask how many people you had in your room and was this requested on your reservations ? I have read that POFQ only allows 4 per room due to fire codes but POR allows 5 in the same size rooms so being a Fireman myself that argument does not hold water.
