ROL length time....

Hey DISers,

We have our upcoming trip from Sep. 29-Oct.11. Now that there's rivers of lights, AK is open till 7:30 which I assume that's when it starts. At around 11:00, we have an ADR at Rainforest Café which you always get a lot of food from there. For those of you that have already went and experienced ROL, what's the length time? We want to know if we should before at AK or after at our hotel CBR. TIA

"Rivers of Light" is not operating at all.
It has been delayed indefinitely.
Some reports say it won't start until sometime in 2017. (Nobody knows.)
Figure that RoL will have a running time of approx. 25 min.
Also, it takes a long time after the show for the theater to empty of guests, so add 15 min., give or take, to that running time.

There is a "substitute show" performing nightly on the lake that is associated with the current Jungle Book film.

ROL isn't running yet. No one knows when it will be. The current Jungle Book nighttime show is about 20 minutes. If I had to guess, I'd say ROL will probably be a similar length.

Guess she didn't know what she was talking about!

Sadly, the "phone CMs" know nothing about park operations.

It is not widely known, but most of those who work the phones are not located in Orlando or even in Florida, and many have never visited WDW.

They do tend to disseminate "advice" based on rumors and isolated bits of information they may have read on the net and elsewhere.

Yeah I figured that because they seem to not know a lot if I have to contact them.
