"ROL" Dining Packages to Begin 5/1? Pricing info/"FTB" too ?

We are on the dining plan and don't want to pay cash for any meals. Tusk House food does not appeal to us.

Hope FT package is covered under the dining plan. Wondering if you have to reserve for FT?

Going in August and AK hours are still show 8-5.

I would think that you will need to book for FT. For Fantasmic in Disneyland, they have a QS option for their dining package. You need to book it in advance. So, I would assume the same for this. The section for the QS package wasn't as good as the sections for the TS packages though....

Any insight into if Tiffins will be available to choose in the dining package in this "wave" of releases? Or, will they release the TH and FTBBQ packages and wait to release the Tiffins until later?

Ahhh, this just misses my trip! Going April 16-24, so if it opens somewhere in there I guess we'll have to wait in line or hopefully we can FP it.

Not eligible for the QS Dining Plan. This suggests it may be possible with a TS credit.

You're very welcome !! Yep--- i would expect the package bookings to be in the system within a day or two, but you never know with Disney !!

I'm actually rearranging my entire AK day and perhaps canceling date night at Sanaa so we can use the DPP for a TH breakfast!

I'd do TH for breakfast with our trip in June but as of right now there is no available seating during breakfast for a party of 8 which is how many we will have in June. I can't see tables now being open for the ROL.

I'm also hoping Tiffins will be part of the ROL dining package. As of right now I have Jiko booked for Tuesday night which is our AK day. Jiko is a must do for us and is not a place we will skip. The other day I also booked Jiko for Wednesday night earlier in the evening than our ADR for Citricos. Once Disney opens up the bookings of ROL I'll endure a buffet meal if I must for Tuesday and cancel Jiko that evening and then go to Jiko on Wednesday and cancel Citricos. I'm hoping that Tuesday turns out to be Tiffins and then Jiko on Wednesday... Ok, I know that sounds confusing.

Personally, I would hold onto it--- and then call and do the cancellation and rebook when the packages become available --- I believe there will be (3) shows per night

Yeah... Search for times online, select the one you want for the package, and it will give you the "You have a reservation at the same time. Do you want to cancel this?" pop-up. You click yes, and it holds the one you have until the other is confirmed so you at least have the original.

I saw an article this morning that Flame Tree will start serving full racks of ribs. I guess that this falls in line with that.

We're a party of five, so not quite as hard as it is for you, and there was only one open time on our AK day for our upcoming trip at like 10:20 so I snagged it. Not sure what is going to happen when the package comes given how booked it seems to be already, at least for May/June.

Isn't TH the only character meal at AK? I wonder if Disney would go through with the change and have zero character meals at AK. Maybe the popularity of ROL will make up the difference? (Definitely feels like character meals are big draws in every park...)

No characters would definitely make it hard for my family to choose TH for lunch...
