ROL Dining Package or Fastpass?

Hello! Looking for thoughts and input about whether or not it would be better to keep my Dining Package for ROL or fastpass it instead?

I know it's still new so no firsthand experiences yet but wanted to see what thoughts are out there? Do both seating areas seem comparable?

Can I vote neither?

Hopefully ROL is better, but when I went to the Jungle Book show last summer, I walked pass the block long line of FP+ guests waiting to get into the arena, went on EE , then walked over to the entrance by Nemo and walked in.
The "reserved seating" guests were packed into their half of the arena, while us walk-ins had tons of room to stretch out.

We booked the FP+, not the dinner package. I would guess that the dinner package seating would be somewhat "better" than the FP+ seating. But, we opted to save the $$ and eat at Flame Tree BBQ.

Our show says it starts at 7:15. Seating at 6:35-7:00. (March 4)

I don't see how that would really be possible with the way the seating areas are designed,
and with such limited seating, over all.

That show would have been 100x better if it was skippers telling bad jokes!

Hooray for Bollywood!

We'll be there in March so no Pandora yet. It would tie up our fastpasses all day but save us a lot of money compared to counter service meals!

In your case I would probably try to FP it. We're going in July and while I hate to pay that much for dinner (since there's apparently no AP discount) I want to save our FP's for Pandora and / or EE so we'll do the pkg. one night. If we end up going a 2nd night we'll try the standby plan as I won't pay that much 2x without a discount. We're going during July 4th week and I'm expecting large crowds all week so I think it will be worth it in our case.

We fast passed Jungle Book last June and had no trouble riding the safari and Everest without FP. We rode Everest 3 times in a row right before closing. We had a FP for the safari and walked up right before sunset and the standby line was only 10 minutes, we didnt even need the FP. That was the last week in June so it worked out pretty good.

We're going with FP in March. We did FP for the Jungle Book show and thought the view was fine. And we want to save $$ as the dining packages are expensive and you can't use TIW for a discount.
