ROL dining package at Tiffins

I've done dining packages before, but always at buffets where you get the same meal and just pay more. This time I'm trying Tiffins, but I'm not sure how it works. Is there a set price and items to choose from? Do you pay the regular price for individual items and the cost depends on what you choose to eat? Thanks for the help.

We went last week and there were no restrictions, it was ALL delicious...I went with the steak/brisket entree, and that made my meal price over the package price.....enjoy!

You can definitely save money with the package depending on what you order at Tiffins.

Unless you have a discount of some sort. You can't get any discounts on the RoL package (or F! packages at HS) but you can get discounts otherwise. We always love the RoL package at Tiffins but have had to give it up. We leave too much money on the table without our TiW discount. Though we do at least split our bill and use the discount on the items we order outside of the package, like drinks

I see that the ROL package includes an appetizer, but the dining plan normally does not. If you use the dining plan credits, do you still get the appetizer? I also saw that for 2018, alcohol drinks are included with the dining plan. Do you think they will be excluded if you have the ROL? (i.e. you get the appetizer, but not the drink)

I did Tiffins' ROL lunch yesterday. It was the best meal I have ever had at an in-park restaurant. Couldn't decide on appetizers, so I added an extra course: octopus, charcuterie board, whole snapper, and cheese instead of dessert. I like octopus and Tiffins knocked it out of the park. The package saved me about 10 dollars, even without factoring in preferred seating for ROL, so I was pleased with the value.

Yes, you get an appetizer. I did this in August. We didn't even go to the ROL, but signed up for the package because of getting the appetizer.
