DVC has 30 days for the ROFR process, although many have reported hearing within about 10 days recently.
The seller will be the one notified by Disney (probably thru their broker) and the purchaser will get the result second hand from the seller/broker.
After ROFR, you may still be a few weeks away from being able to make a reservation. Resale purchases are usually entered into the DVC computer about a week after closing. Some have paid extra to the closing company to expedite the closing process, but I'm not convinced the additional expense speeds up the process by much.
Good luck!![]()
I don't think so, but I don't know for sure.Is that 30 working days or calendar days? Mine was submitted 4/2 and I'm still waiting to hear. I also heard Disney replies to brokers on Mondays & Tuesdays, is that true?

We are waiting for rofr and a bit antsy. How long has it been taking these days to get the news? We want to plan our vacation but can't do anything. We need some Pixie Dust badly.

Congrats!
We submitted for ROFR on 5/1 (or 5/2) for AKV so now we're playing the waiting game...we're hoping to hear back within a couple weeks!
I passed!I followed up with GMAC & they checked with Disney. They said it was sent directly to the Title company. I should be getting the closing documents this week!
Thank you everyone for the advice!
