Got an email from title company with an attached "buyer's open escrow" form to fill out and email back. Our purchase was sent for ROFR on 9/24. Does this mean we passed? Or is it something different?

Something different. This is just a form that some title companies use for your money they are holding in escrow. When we used TT&M, we did not have this extra paperwork to fill out, but using *** now and they use this form.

Ouch!!! You have got to be kidding??? So sorry to hear. I'm curious to see if they waive or take the contract that was very similar to yours with use year, price, # of points....

So, just hit a bump in the road with my OKW contract. Got an email from broker that the property had a second deed, which was just in one of the sellers names. They need us to resign the original contract which now reflects just one seller and then send it back to Disney to ask them for a waiver. Anyone else ever have this happen? I'm just hoping this is a formality and not a second chance for them to decide to take it back!!

Well, apparently Disney didn't like the way our broker worded part of our contract, as it didn't clearly define where the remaining 2015 UY points came from. We had to sign an amendment to the contract. I suppose that means that they have taken a look at the contract already (which was submitted 7 days ago), but now I hope it doesn't go back to the bottom of the pile!

That would be mine. I *wasn't* worried, but now not so sure. This contract was actually a bit better than mine, since it included 2015 points paid for by the seller, whereas I'm paying the MF on the remaining 2015 points in my contract. But still... it's not far off.

We received an addendum on Monday clarifying that we would fully reimburse the sellers 2015 MF. Makes me think the sellers already paid the MF. Called the broker and they said that the contract was back at Disney for ROFR review. Hoping it doesn't go back to the bottom of the pile as well.

Yes MF are due at the beginning of the calendar year (not use year) unless the previous owner was on a payment plan (but being that it is oct by the time the contract closed they would have basically paid MF for the whole year) plus my understanding is that Disney will not allow a contract to close/transfer ownership unless that year's MF have been paid in full.

Our broker told me that it would just pick up where it left off, once the amendment was submitted. She didn't think it would delay things more than 1-2 days. We're hoping that things go as quickly as others have so that we don't lose the opportunity to use the points!
