Just the cost of the contract mostly, but location of resort does play a part. Resort and points do not as far as I know

Just to throw our own recent experience out there with www.dvcclosings.com and Cammy- we had amazing experiences with Cammy's work when she was still with First American (www.firstamericantitle.com) and she did not disappoint for our latest BCV contract- it was closed within four days from the ROFR notice. For what it's worth, we also had a stellar experience with Vacatia (www.vacatia.com) and they were more than willing to let us work with whomever we chose for the title portion. I know that some brokers have preferred title companies and whine a little about using someone else, but our experience with both companies could not have been easier and more pleasant.

Some brokers will ask you who you want to use for closing, others will just assume you'll use who they suggest. The board sponsor has what seems to be a relationship with Magic Vacation Title https://magicvacationtitle.com/ which has been reported to have slower closings than someone like Cammy, that's not to say the board sponsor won't let you use someone else, just that they seem to suggest Magic Vacation Title the most. You can always try specifying who you want as closing company as a part of your offer.
