I rode the resort monorail trying to get back to my car a couple weeks ago after fireworks.. never again. Even if I'm staying at Poly I'd rather walk. I love walking right over to the Grand Floridian boat….. it’s by far my favorite way to get to/from a theme park…..
As you know we decided to keep CCV The walk was very appealing for BLT but in the end CCV/BWV won for us. We adore the boats!

The secret is jumping on Big Thunder Mountain right before fireworks, riding during fireworks, then catching a few extra rides and moseying on out after the crowd. I hope it's open again in January but I haven't heard yet.

Stupid little boy
Usually when we actually are staying on property, we're out of the parks at around dinner time because we like eating at the restaurants in the resorts like Citricos, California Grill, Narcoosee's, etc. etc. Those are my preferred areas to watch the fireworks from and I also hate the crowds post fireworks. People are just generally nasty when the crowds are bad and I try to avoid being around them.
