Narrator: VGCgroupie did not, in fact, remain strong.
Big unicorn get. This is a solid price for regular AUL so for sub, very amazing!VGCgroupie---$97.56-$21100-205-AUL-Feb-0/23, 8/24, 410/25, 205/26-Subsidized- sent 11/26
Been working on this deal for months
Thanks!!Big unicorn get. This is a solid price for regular AUL so for sub, very amazing!
ThanksTruly an amazing deal, @VGCgroupie! Hopefully the rest of the sales process goes by more quickly than the offer negotiation phase.
Curious what your plan is for the Feb UY...the start of have split UYs for different stays? Or, like the resort, this AUL contract stays on an island?
I should add I don’t regret getting my VDH Dec because the $6,000 I got in the mail last week almost felt like free money. Thanks!!
ThanksOriginally Aulani was bought as SAP but we went and loved it so much those points will likely only be used there. Our current Aulani is Feb and our VGC is too. If I hadn't bought my direct VDH Dec to get MB then Id likely sell off my CCV Dec to only have one UY. It does get kind of confusing for me.
Everyone is different but we have 6 (Feb, April, June, Sep, Oct and Dec) different use yearsThanks!!

I think if Disney had a better dashboard and interface for booking it would be easier for me. I am a still pretty new to DVC so Im sure it will become easier and easier over time. I do love the extra waitlists! I have 4 going right now.Everyone is different but we have 6 (Feb, April, June, Sep, Oct and Dec) different use years. I actually kinda like it because it's 6 different opportunities to buy OTU Points and we can have more waitlists. I'm looking forward to having 6 opportunities (144 points) to buy OTU points for $10 when the new membership benefits start. I can see where it would get a little confusing though. It also allows us to plan trips at different times of the year and to not be booking after the banking deadline ect. I'm sure 6 use years are horrifying to most people
. Me and my husband are also pretty organized when it comes to keeping track of our contracts.

My first ever resale contract after being DVC for 5+ years... AND in my December UY!
I won't even get the '23 points in time since it probably won't close for a few days so those are a loss. But still! So excited about this one.![]()
I saw some of those, but thankfully I also saw the Lakeside Lodge announcement -- and I've been waiting for that resort for a while. So, I really don't need more points right now, and more importantly, I need to start saving to buy into Lakeside when it goes on sale. Provided Disney doesn't do something to make me change my mind. (I had intended to buy VDH, till I saw how high the transient taxes were. CFW until I saw the dues costs. PVB until I saw the lack of incentives; I bought a resale contract at $150pp instead.)There are some really good contracts being listed this afternoon for anyone looking for a bargain (especially BLT!)
I would expect restricted points, a high point chart, and low incentives…..I saw some of those, but thankfully I also saw the Lakeside Lodge announcement -- and I've been waiting for that resort for a while. I had my eye on this one for a hot second before deciding to hold off. Glad a DISboards member snagged it! Just in time for the refurb.jcolvin5---$119-$20873-160-BLT-Feb-0/23, 0/24, 160/25, 160/26- sent 11/27
Finally pulled the trigger on a MK property. This has not been an easy decision.![]()
I went to sleep last night content in the decision to wait until Jan/Feb and see what these look like. This "new" contract was in my inbox from dvcforless.com. Congratulations! We also did a full price offer on this one but had no idea how long it had been up for. It could have been an hour it could have been 5 minutes but we figured it had already been claimed. I didn't realize that it had the 2023 points (I'm assuming they were banked 2022's) but you're right those will be a loss. Great timing on your part!nerdboyrockstar---$115-$42578-320-BLT-Dec-264/23, 550/24, 320/25- sent 10/30, passed 11/21

Very nice! Was wondering who grabbed that one! A bargainWell, it's been a while since I bought something. I was looking for either CCV or AUL Sub--after the lack of incentives with Poly Direct (which was what I was initially holding out for). But then this popped up. No current points (2024), but full points for 2025 and following. It will take many years before the discount on this contract catches up to the value lost by not buying AUL sub--or at least that's what I told myself. And I got 100 points of resale here for roughly what 35 points would've cost with Poly Direct (in case Disney is listening).

With the dumping of AUL contracts--as I said a while ago--I do expect more to show up in the $70pp range before this whole ride is over. And I also expect for prices to rebound once the commercial dumping of AUL is over.
Anyway, hopefully there's some mango or coconut mojitos in my future.
Great pickup. Beat me to it, but I was on the fence anyway. Super early on, the broker had some personal info in the seller notes and looks like a divorce, probably wanted a quick sale.Well, it's been a while since I bought something.
