They could actually book a trip that begins anytime after June 1st, 2025 by borrowing from their 2026 points. If they had the points today they could go ahead and start booking at any resort (other than Riviera, Disneyland and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness) since most of June is in the 7 month window or Animal Kingdom from June 1st-Nov 23 (plus 7 days).

I agree with that and I personally prefer to not be in a barrowing state. Hopefully this contract is safe from ROFR since it's not fully loaded and they'vebeen picking off AKV (we were victim of AKV ROFR in September). There's some loaded great priced contracts we've offered on that would have been distressed points that would have been difficult to use ourselves or rented out before expiring. There's always more contracts out there if they decide after getting their feet wet that they need more.

Waiting… a bit worried this will get taken, but hopefully they decide to stop picking on AKV! We bought our first resale contract when the ROFR monster was hibernating in 2023, so this has been nerve wrecking!

This will be our second Aulani resale. It was nice to find a Sep use year smaller contract that wasn’t stripped.

You may need to check the contract versus your input. Points in sept 2023 are either wrong input or expired. Should 2024 show 200? If so, $95 for a smaller Aulani with double free points is a very awesome buy!

We only do 1 trip a year in June and maybe a weekend in October, and already had a trip planned and paid for 2025 before we purchased this contract. We might do a split stay this year to utilize it but that is still in discussion.

I've personally found our grocery store has fantastic deals periodically ... for example we just bought 20 $100 Disney gift cards from grocery store. Each gave a $15 grocery store GC. + 3% on CC + gas discount got us to around 19% off

DW gets irritated with having to deal with 20 $15 gift cards at grocery store, but she understands me.

In cases like this ( lots of txns) I recommend going to customer service and be super nice to them, sometimes they are not happy doing 20 separate transactions ...hehe. (actually just always be super nice ... customer service is better than regular checkout, you will more than likely get evil looks from patrons behind you in line )... I digress...

If it hadn't been for the 655pt DEC AUL-S I picked up a few months ago, I would be very jealous you spotted and grabbed this one first.

This was exactly what I was in the market for before my contract (and I know they're not similar beyond the AUL-S part). But I missed the dvcforless.com alert (got it, saw it, but didn't think it was subsidized), and on top of that you managed to negotiate the sellers down from a great deal to a fantastic deal. Nice job!
