My prediction on ROFR is how recently you talked with a direct DVC sales person. Those that got ROFR’d and the price was within normal or above, had you had contact with direct DVC in the past year?
I'm 2 for 5 on passing ROFR and the one time I was actively talking to DVC for direct pricing they passed on a killer deal for BCV for us, so we obviously didn't end up buying direct at that time.

I had one taken when I was actively talking to a DVC salesperson. It was a June UY. For the one we had that passed, I hadn't spoken to our DVC rep for months. It was a Feb UY. Both contracts were loaded. I offered the same price per point for both. I don't know if they care enough to look at that kind of stuff though. More than likely it was UY that did me in or unit number for the one they took.

This year's offer hasn't passed yet, but I had contact same day or close to same day with my last contract in 2020. My offer at that time was the low end of what was passing at that time.
 

I'm feeling like getting savage on some Aulani contracts.
I was trying for a few months to get someone to bite on sub 100 for a contract. My use year came up on a small point one at 105 and I jumped on being it was fully loaded, and seller paying maintenance on 2022

Oh yes I received some of those responses. With the seller knows the value of this contract. Even though it has been sitting on the sales site for months.

So just about 3months to hunt/offers/accept to usable DVC points. Good luck everyone! I have 4 bids made today, 1 already shot down as they want full asking (ok good luck with that).
 
Just heard back, 1 of the remaining 3 got a full price offer, I had offered $10 below and was willing to probably say Yes to $5 below would have had to flip some coins if they countered with $2-4 below :) 2 remain in play for me.

Two months back I was talking to my guide about an OKWe purchase. At the same I had a contract in ROFR. It passed.

I guess we will just never know.

I’ve received lectures about my offer never passing ROFR and how the closing agent we all love is an untrustworthy liar. Also that a second offer came in higher than mine but the agent would let me have it if I matched that price. Old school sales tactics.

We just signed a contract for $155 pp for 200 points at BLT, but no points available until June 2023, it will be a squeaker if it gets through

The closing company this broker made me use (was denied a request to use Mason) has an AOL email address as their official business address, which to me was extremely sketchy/unprofessional. In the end it worked out though, even better than the one the board sponsor uses (but definitely not better than Mason/Cammy!)
