sorry to see this was taken on you after what sounds like a lot of work to get an accepted offer... Hope however it ends up works out for the best. I will say that there does seem to be more and more contracts hanging around longer...

Yeah, it is an emotional roller coaster sometimes, we have been lucky. My advice would be just to keep submitting offers, eventually one will make it through, and will save you a decent amount of money, especially at AKV. I don't think you will have any problem getting direct points at AKV though, so good luck with either way you decide to go.

My DH refuses to pay over 100 per point for resale, he doesn't see the point when direct gets you extra discounts. We actually had quite a few agents refuse to put a bid in because they said it wasn't high enough, been trying for months and most contracts are either stripped or the price is crazy high (in our opinion). If we bought direct it would be at a newer resort for the longer contract even though we prefer AKL.

Good luck! We just closed last month on 100 points at VGC and have our first trip booked for June-so excited. Closing was a nightmare but it’s over now

Thank you and Congrats!!!! I've been to DL about 30 times and have never stayed at a Disneyland resort so Im very excited. I have two trips planned before my UY so if it closes I will have to go good neighbor but hoping our first DVC will be in November. I hope your first trip is magical.
