Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get my points added to my account if/when I pass? I'm adding on with same use year if that matters.

Closing docs will come in 1 week-30 days. Then, when you close is highly variable depending on when you send in docs and money and sellers send in their notarized docs. After it closes, then it'll take 3-5 business days to record with the county. Then, you will have to wait 2-3 weeks for Disney to load the points into your account. I recently added on with the same resort/same UY, and that's what it took.

Just heard back from broker; Disney just completely lost the file (couldn't track it down at all). My broker has resubmitted it, and Disney will put it back in the queue (on a rush basis)...on Monday.

Closing was originally to be 8/7 - I have a feeling that isn't going to happen (if they even let me have the contract). Also, a backup deal I was looking at (in case this one is taken), just had an approved offer submitted, so I pray mine passes, or else it's back to whatever is before square one.

I've only noticed maybe 2 AKV bought back in the past couple of years. Not a guarantee, but the odds are ever in your favor.

I hope so. I know when we were there in May we stopped in and talked to our guide about adding on there with Feb use year and they had more than enough for us to buy.

They always seem to have what you want if you insist on a certain thing and have cash/credit card ready to go. Weird how that works.

Our latest contract we closed on took about 2 1/2 weeks to see points in the account after Disney got the paperwork. We did not finance so don't know if that makes a difference or not. I will say I kept checking our dvc account and noticed the points in the account before I got the official letter from Disney.

Thanks. We aren't financing either. I just want this to be done so I can start planning more vacations and start shopping for more points.
