Thanks! I was hoping to make our first trip as second-class owners over Spring Break next year -- our school district has SB before Disney's peak period and we've been enough times during busy times of year to have, let's say, modest expectations re the parks during early April -- but I figured that dream had died. This deal came together quickly and the broker has been absolutely spectacular. Provided that we pass, it'll be tight to get the points into the system by the end of April, but there's a real chance now whereas there wasn't one a week ago. Yippee!

These seem to be coming fast out of ROFR. I hope to hear about ours in a week or so.

Looks like there a bunch of passes too. Really wish my contract had made it in when it was supposed to. I have this unsubstantiated thought that they run out of allocated money towards the end of each month, so I like being in that timeframe. Of course, I'm probably completely wrong... Disney out of money? This is a lot better than the streak of a lot of buy backs. Fingers crossed!

Finally found out that it passed. Have to admit, I was kind of hoping it would be taken so that we could get a more loaded contract or more points. Got “addonitiis” as soon as our offer was accepted.

I'm sooooo happy to read this! The contract I agreed to was actually more than DOUBLE what I was looking for, which made me really question things. I felt uneasy for about 2 days, then knew it was the right decision. Have been seeing smaller contracts since (the one I was originally in the market for) and not interested any more. Funny how quickly I got excited about spending twice as much as I wanted. Now..... if it'll just pass

On a positive note, we signed closing docs on our BCV add on today - that deal has moved lightening fast!

Did you ever hear anything back from your broker? Or did you just get a check?

I did finally get her on the phone on Tuesday afternoon, after sending her an email and leaving a voicemail!, (the check from the title company was dated Friday, so the notification had to have at least gone out that day) and she said she had a pile of notifications from Disney that were just put on her desk and found mine to confirm

Wow Disney is aggressively buying back Poly right now! I hope that by the time we all try again they'll be done for a bit

So sorry to hear about your poly contract! But that’s great news on your BCV contract! I think you’re the closest around me to pass ROFR on BCV so I’ve been hoping you’d come back to update about closing! The title company sent me an email about title insurance today and I am SO impatiently waiting for closing docs even though the expectation from when I passed ROFR was about another week and a half. Hoping closing paperwork comes soon!

Addonitis has set in and we are trying to find a nice little monorail contract hopefully through the same resale company since prices are so good with them! I’ve been shocked how low BLT resale prices have been lately but I’ve never stayed there so I’m reluctant to pull the trigger! Would love to add on at poly but so much has been getting grabbed in ROFR and I definitely won’t be paying direct prices there! Decisions, decisions...

For those of you who have been through ROFR before, how do you make it? LOL! I am trying so hard to be patient, but the waiting and anticipation is making me a little nutty. I also read some recent ROFR statistics which are raising my anxiety level. Hoping everyone gets good news soon!
