That's the way I lean. I think the biggest thing is I like negotiating for good deals, so it's tough to be left out.

I get it. But if current uncertainty has you uncomfortable, wait until some of that uncertainty is gone before making big money moves!

I mention BLT because most of our points are there. OKWE because our direct points are there and I wouldn't mind having more okw points to get GVs, although the dues are unpleasant. We have never been to Aulani. I bought them because I got them for $70 pp when disney took every contract I negotiated (think it was 10+ contracts). We tried to go in AUL in 2020 for our 20th but didn't think being separated from our kids by land was smart. This year we were going to Cali, then Aul, then Tokyo and HK for our 25th but now we have to book outside of USA so who knows when we will get to AUL. With that info as background, would you still go SSR?

If you bought aul for $70 pp why swap for SSR that is listed for more?

I feel this. We got water in part of our basement last summer. We had everything waterproofed and regraded part of our yard. But we still need to get walls and flooring back up in the room where the water came in. So knowing that project is on the horizon, I'm resisting the urge to add more DVC right now. But it's hard because a contract for almost exactly what I want came on the market a few days ago (VGC.) I'm going to be responsible though.

The AUL market is REALLY flooded right now and you have commissions, estoppel, and closing costs on a new contract…..

I would wait. Even with banking, you're too far out to personally use any points you bought today. Also, the more points you have, the more you'll be paying in annual dues (to the US economy).

wishing for the best for your PVB contract— I can see why it’s tempting for Disney— they can claim ROFR is still alive for PVB (and let the bigger brokers trumpet it to try to get people to keep buying closer to $160 and up), but it’s a small contract so it doesn’t cost much capital.

Well, I was hoping for news this week, as we are on day 20, but instead I got an addendum. There was an error in our contract expiration date. I'm a bit mad that I didn't catch it when I read the contract. I looked it over carefully.

Oh well, back to the beginning of the countdown I guess.

I was on day 28 of ROFR, I got an email at 6:20 am they said I had to sign an addendum for the wrong contract #. I asked if it started over they said no. I should be on day 53. I’m considered on day 26. I called Disney directly yesterday as my agent wasn’t getting back to me. It’s just so frustrating. I’m in the same boat you are

NO! Oops, God no. So sorry. Not enough coffee and a husband recovering from surgery so I'm a little out of it.

$95 per point. 200 points I will change it and format using the post Sandisw shared. Sorry about that.

And yes, I did pay 2025 dues because 2025 use year is just starting in August this year.

LOL I know the feeling. To confirm the $19,000 includes closing costs and the dues for 2025? Or just the cost per point?
