Thank you for this reply, I do think that you have the correct math here. And obviously, the economics is not by any means the most import thing. Still... I'm impressed you are still buying; would love to take a peak at your dashboard for the heck of it lol.

My last year or so at Disney:

1) Last August: 6ish nights Aulani 2BD OV
2) September: One night at VDH garden view duo
3) October: VGC 2BD for a long weekend
4) November: VGC 2BD for 4ish nights
5) Feb: One night at VGC 1BD with Mom
6) March: Split stay at BW GV/VGF 2Bd
7) June: Aulani GV for 7 nights
8) August: 5 nights VGC 2BD
9) October: VGC 1Bd for long weekend
10) January: 4 nights at VDH (2 studios, 1BD waitlist)
11) April: Possible VGC 1BD for Star Wars night
12) Summer before MK expires: likely VGC 2BD
13) Debating Post Christmas late 26 vs Spring Break 27 at BW/VGF.

Possibly another 1-2 nights at VGC/VDH if I go down to LA in Sept 25/Feb26.

There has also been about 6-7 trips that I rented out for friends and other guests via DIS and rental sites.

I started sweating when I saw some other VGC's getting taken so I'm happy it passed and only took 3 weeks!

Funny story is I botched my offer... was thinking I'd typed in $220 but actually sent $240. Moral of the story is don't make DVC offers on your phone while distracted during a meeting at work

Yeah I'm guessing we would have landed at $230 ultimately so I'm telling myself it was only a $500 mistake. I'm just happy I got in to this amazing resort (no more waiting and praying for 6 months for a wait-list to come through!) and that it had some 2024 points to bank and borrow for a trip next year.

Yep I was away for a few hours and refreshed and nothing. Honestly don’t remember if that’s ever happened before for me.

I don’t expect the panic selling to set in for a while, and it may not. If we knew what was gonna happen we’d all be a whole lot richer and prob buying direct
