I saw animal kingdom and SSR included but didn’t see BLT. Maybe I missed it. Do you happen to have a suggestion of an article to look at? I was also wondering if AKL and SSR had dipped too low and that’s why they’re trying to sell direct (and will probably ROFR).

We have a couple in process so now I’m nervous!!
I’m also starting to get a bit nervous with my 90$ per point AKL contract currently being in ROFR. Before the new incentives I wasn’t particularly nervous as there were no signs of ROFR activity on AKL in the recent past. But with those incentives that could quickly change.

I just saw that Bay Lake Tower is included in the summer incentives and now I’m getting nervous….Disney hasn’t taken a BLT contract (that I’m aware of) in SO LONG, would they start with mine? 😬

MeridaMonkey---$129-$19840-140-BLT-Dec-0/23, 140/24, 140/25- sent 6/5

If it makes you worry less, we passed at 110$ per point last week.

I should have waited 2 hours to post, I just got an email from the broker and we passed!!

I quickly had that thought as well on my new BLT contracts that went to ROFR yesterday.

The veterans on these boards can probably speak to this with more insight but I do not get the sense that Disney tries (or has previously tried) to prop up the resale market.

I don't think it is about trying to prop up the resale market so much as it is more beneficial to them if resale is higher. When the contract cost between resale and direct are close people are more likely to decide to go direct.

Yikes, I hadn't even thought about ROFR. Hopefully $120 isn't an issue for 61pts.

At this rate it seems unlikely we will get our new accounts created and points added before those banked 2022 points expire, but we are still very excited to join DVC!
Shouldn't the (2022pts) 36 already be expired?
I mean if you bank them they'll expire in 2 months anyway along with any of the 2023 points?

I wouldn’t think it’s an issue. Ours was the lowest per point price I saw but I’ve seen several others that passed between 110$ to 120$ per point.

If you can record before the 4th of July, you might just have ~7 days to book something!
