$100/pt was my max out and I got close. I was going to add on at BRV but AKV has several more years left on it than BRV and I have been lucky enough to score the club level and value rooms a few times.

IMO if it fits well with your plans I'd probably move forward with it. AKV currently is a pretty good deal. It was only a couple years ago that it was going for the 140s. Hell, I wish I had gotten mine but 100 pp but I don't have regrets about it because it worked out for our timing

This is a good question. Historically I found it difficult to tell, but https://www.dvcforless.com has a filter under status where you can select international seller. There are either extremely few or they’re poorly notated because on 3 listings pop up out of over 1400 listings.

They’re poorly notated. There is no requirement to disclose; brokers do it voluntarily when they’re aware.

seller pays 2024 dues at closing. we pay no dues. Broker said our total OOP would be $17979 - They wanted $104 pp but I offered $107 and they pay 2024 dues of $1035.

This is only our second resale contract and we had add on itis.

I do not believe it is a decent deal for the buyer. But I'm more on the bargain shopper side.

Our UY is August, so I only look at contracts for August. I am not sure I have been a member long enough to handle multiple UYs.

We did score 100 pts - loaded points at BRV in June 2023 @ $95/pt. We LOVE that resort also. But, the 2057 exp on AKV is good also.

Thank you for your feedback. We got our contracts today, and we are optimistic about it passing ROFR.

If we add on the next 3 yrs then we can be in the 1000+ club

I just saw that Bay Lake Tower is included in the summer incentives and now I’m getting nervous….Disney hasn’t taken a BLT contract (that I’m aware of) in SO LONG, would they start with mine?

I saw animal kingdom and SSR included but didn’t see BLT. Maybe I missed it. Do you happen to have a suggestion of an article to look at? I was also wondering if AKL and SSR had dipped too low and that’s why they’re trying to sell direct (and will probably ROFR).

We have a couple in process so now I’m nervous!!

Here’s a summary article. I think that link is allowed. I agree though with @byurick that the BLT incentives aren’t great compared to what you can get on the resale market.
