Is the ROFR Monster slowly waking from his slumber ?, (or just tossing & turning a bit) ??
Since May, this board now shows "takens" at 3 Resorts (OKW,PVB,VGF).

Sorry to hear that— it’s a good deal but not crazy low considering it’s stripped. You might be able to do better with a loaded one?

As a VGF owner, I’m actually surprised they are still taking VGF, I thought they’d moved on to greener pastures. To me, this indicates that PVB points are going to be $$$.

This is a good question. Historically I found it difficult to tell, but https://www.dvcforless.com has a filter under status where you can select international seller. There are either extremely few or they’re poorly notated because on 3 listings pop up out of over 1400 listings.

seller pays 2024 dues at closing. we pay no dues. Broker said our total OOP would be $17979 - They wanted $104 pp but I offered $107 and they pay 2024 dues of $1035.

This is only our second resale contract and we had add on itis.

(17120-1035)/160=100.5 per point. Pretty sure you can likely do better but if you have a trip coming up and this is the use year you want it wouldn't be a bad contract to take. If you were more patient/willing to negotiate more you could probably get it down to mid 90s

We are waiting on our 160 point AKV contract to be sent to ROFR. Our offer of $88pp was accepted, but they had just reduced their asking price to $96pp, so I had a feeling they wanted out.

Not trying to one-up or anything. And we may see lower prices as time goes on, so who knows. If you’re happy with it, then that’s what matters.

Oh I'm aware it's a better deal than buying direct, you asked if it was a decent deal which it is but you also could likely get better is all I'm saying.
