I’m REALLY curious if they take this one given they’re completely out of OKW points, but on the opposite side, it’s off strategy, seeing that it’s already extended.

This one sat for a long time with no bites. Stripped until 2026 basically so I get it, but I was surprised how long it took.

Was chatting with my guide about OKW-E, and he said all the guides get constant requests for more OKW-E points with promotional incentives - and the answer is the same: they are sold out. Guide said they are fulfilling the wait list requests for OKW-E with rescission period cancellations and ROFRs taken.

I know this is fleshed out elsewhere, but I still think the ROFR is a straight up cash cow for DVD on these actively selling/recent sold out contracts.... just ROFR these points at $90pp and fill a waitlist at a net $150pp.

My AUL was sent in on 5/14, so fingers crossed I hear back today.

Do the various legal entities within Disney have to conduct a transaction to extend ROFR'ed 2042 contracts? Like does Disney Vacation Destinations have to "buy" the extension of the contract from some other legal entity?

Nope. They just ROFR a "2042 contract" and re-sell the points with a 2057 expiration. I believe they do have to file a new, simple, one-page deed with the Comptroller's office, but that appears to be it. @Sandisw might have more to contribute.

WOW! Great price !! I am looking for something like yours but for August. There are less for sell than December so the price per point might be a little bit higher. We alrealdy own AKV in december (175 pts) but we want to take some trips during fall, so August would cover it. My husband has this excel sheet and he sais your points ( without the dues that are added every year) come out to $2,58. He is impressed.
