Finally got someone to answer me back. Originally was going to buy enough Disneyland points to go every 3 years, but we decided we would rather go to vero every year. Maybe we will get lucky like we did this summer at Disneyland.

Divide the price you are paying by 17, are you ok with paying that much plus annual dues for the next 17 years for those points? If yes, then you are good. If no, then don’t buy.
