Woo Hoo.....we passed! Started getting nervous past day 14, but seems like they are just taking little more time lately. Broker sent a very detailed timeline showing each step and indicated closing on or before 5/25. Now to buy another 25pts direct and then try to avoid addonitis.

Well! In a very strange, but pleasantly surprising twist, I got an email today from the Title Company, NOT the broker, with my closing docs! We got zero word that we had passed ROFR, and I even reached out to my broker two days ago for an update with no response... anyways, we have our closing docs already so I'm pretty happy! It's been 20 days since it got sent to ROFR. I have no idea what day it passed ROFR so I'm not sure if this will help the data or not.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy! I had checked my email this morning but saw nothing. Since it was the closing company, the email went to my junk email very early this morning and I didn't see it until just now on my desktop!

I think I'm allowed to post because I believe they're a sponsor, but yeah it's a semi-major one: dvcmagicresales.com I've been kind of unhappy with communication through the whole process though. That being said, I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to share the good news! Especially when I sent an email asking for an update. The email I sent was worded with the whole "I know Disney still has time, just wanted to check in and see if there was news, thanks for all your help" type of language. Very bizarre to just hear from the title company...

Very strange, the typical timelines I'm seeing in waiting for the closing docs are 2-3 weeks after passing, so you most likely passed at least over a week ago. Oh well, great news anyway!

I sent them an email almost two weeks ago, inquiring about a BCV contract that we were interested in buying. They never replied so I assumed the contract was sold. It is still listed as available on her site though. Feel bad for that seller as we would have bought it. But went with another contract and another broker.

Our last two buys have been with JP at timeshareresales.com ( or dvc-resales.com) which I believe is a sponsor. Didn't know they were a sponsor when we bought from them the first time and they have been GREAT at providing updates, answers to questions etc. very promptly!

And yes I am sure when we add on...again....we willl go back to them!
