PLEASE FOLLOW THE FORMAT LISTED BELOW. If you do not follow this list, I cannot add your information to the chart.

I want to list: price/pt, total cost (include price/pt plus closing you pay, mf you pay and admin fee if you pay for a grand total), number of points, resort, use year (UY) and how many '12, '13, '14, '15 and '16 points it comes with...then post when it went to ROFR and when you get results (come back and post date and result...like on the other thread).


Price/pt-total cost (see above paragraph)-# of pts-resort-UY-pts it comes with-when sent, when passed or taken

Example: that's nice---$60-$16,937-250-SSR-Dec-0/'12, 51/'13, 250/'14, 250/'15, 250/'16-sent 1/2, passed 1/27 (cut and paste this to your post and change to your own info...please).

Disney exercised their ROFR. Bummed out, figured as much though, as we didn't hear back as quick as others. Now to decide where to go from here.

After stalking the boards for a while, I've decided to jump in. Smaller contract than I ultimately want, but as it is coming loaded, it gets me what I need for next year or two with a decent amount left over. I asked the broker about ROFR - she said that OKW and SS seem to be where they are buying back lately. Said VGC hadn't been bought back since 2013 for them, so I'm hoping!

All of the 2014 & 2015 points have been used. The 147 points in 2015 were borrowed from 2016 leaving a balance of 43 2016 points. We figured this would make this contract unappealing to Disney to take back.

After hearing how everyone had heard back, I promptly called the agent and found out the person handling my account was out of the office on Friday. My contract has passed ROFR and we will be starting closing shortly!

Told the wife I'd start worrying if we didn't hear by the end of next week, but I'm (probably not as secretly as I think) already anxious.

Heck I was anxious as soon as it went for ROFR! But I know what you mean. I'm hopeful for news next week, but I know the holiday might push things out a bit. Soon we wait...and keep reading the forum obsessively!

If it makes you feel better, my BWV offer went in November 6th.... still waiting. Hoping tomorrow because we are leaving on vacation this week!!!
