ROFR. How fast? What result?

Hey guys. Mickey has had our contract at least a week (confirmed last Monday). How quickly did you hear about ROFR and what were your results?

I hear it can come back as quick at 10 days and as long as 30 or more. Does Mickey usually scoop up contracts quickly or slowly? WHats your experience?

If I remember correctly it was about two weeks. I think how long depends on volume and staffing. The amount of time they spend on each contract to review and make decision is probably pretty minimal.

Ours took the full month. We actually never heard back, Disney just let the date expire. They have, IIRC, 30 days. If they haven't responded within 30 days, they lose their ROFR.

I think we set a new record. Our broker called with the good news in only 7 days!

We heard in two weeks about the contract Disney bought back. It took a month to hear about the contract we were able to purchase. Sometimes waiting is good!

I seem to remember being told that it was 30 calendar days that Disney had to respond or their option expired. I could be wrong.

DVC has 30 days to act on a ROFR. I called my broker last Friday asking about mine. She indicated that the notices she had received on Friday were from July 31 and earlier submittals to DVC. Doing the math, it's about two weeks to get a decision on the ROFR.

Since my contract was submitted to DVC on Monday 8/4, she suggested that I wait until next Friday to call back as the committee only meets on Thursdays. That's the first I heard about that. Anyone else know how factual that is?
