We are taking our foster kids October 8-18 -- eight of us total. Looks like the cheapest we can get by is the Rodeway Inn. Can anyone help with any info about the place. Thanks in advance!

I booked this hotel for our November trip as well...ANYONE????ANYONE out there ever stay here ???? I am staying at the one on Irlo Bronson Hwy, there are two of them I believe the ohter one is called Rodeway Inn International....

Looks like we will be there the same time . I will be there Oct 11 thru the 17th and I think the $27.00 for a deluxe room is too good to pass up ..I would love some firsthand knowledge but I guess well have to provide that when we get back . Lets hope it's clean and safe and the pool is good . It is my understanding Dreams unlimited got this special rate and I am hoping they would not sell a dumpy place . Maybe Ia'm wrong but I hope not . Good luck to us .

WE ARE PIONEERS!!!!!!!!!

I love it! It makes it more of an adventure to have no idea what to expect...a chipped tub perhpas!! Yikkesss
(sorry I read a post somewhere about someone complaining about that at a resort & it made me giggle)
Anyhooo

Let's hope Dreams wouldn't lead us in a "bad direction"
Good luck to all of us ..

Hi Kim
we stayed at the rodeway inn in february for the second time. The room's had been decorated since our first stay, and were just like a typical american hotel room, the front lobby was quite scruffy, they surely had still to do it. We didn't eat in the hotel, prefering to eat out. Of what we could see the shop and restaurant were clean and tidy. we would stay there again.

I have to admit that I have never been to the Roadway Inn. In fact, the place kinda scared me :). I was surprised to see that Dreams has special rates there, so it must not be as bad as I thought. Good luck everyone ... let us know how it was.

I stayed in the Rodeway Inn International in February. The room was basic, with a fridge and microwave. They cleaned the carpet whilt we the there to remove some stains- caused by a leaky air conditioner I think - (worked fine for us). Bedding and twels were clean, staff were fine, pool was nice. We ate breakfast most days at the hotel out of preference. Good location for the trolley and walking to nearby restaurants. I'd stay again if I got a good deal.

Anyone back from the Rodeway Inn- Bronson Hwy.?

what's it like? I need to book for Nov 5- 1 night only

please let me know.

Just got back yesterday. We had two rooms for ten days. I can't say the rooms were the greatest, but the price was good. The air conditioner didn't work in the second room, so the kids were moved to an adjoining room that included a kitchen. There was a nice pool and you also had the use of the Howard Johnson pool and hot tub next door. Customer service was good. Our total bill for the two rooms for ten days was $640 and we were also given $100 credit for our next stay at Rodeway. You get a stamp for each night of stay and that adds up for the credit. The shuttle to Disney only drops off at Magic Kingdom, but picks up at all four parks in the afternoon and evening.

Thanks for the info.

Do you think the HoJo's rooms are better?

I'm allergic to mold & mildew- Any dampness in the rooms @ Rodeway.

Thanks
was your trip Great or what....

15more days to go- to the Mudducks Grand Adventure:earsgirl: :smooth::tongue:

We were there last Fri thru Thurs and the hotel was fine. We had booked a deluxe room and on check in they gave us a standard but quickly upgraded us to a full kitchen forthe $27.a night rate . Our room was very clean and A/C worked great . Our tv was not working but the maintainace got it fixed in 15 mins .The shuttle worked out great for us but one night from MK bus56 came by 25 mins before shuttle and for $1.25 they dropped us off across the street so we got back a little faster then the shuttle . The staff was always very friendly and helpful and I got my stamps for a future discount or airline miles .I think some people get this confused with a another Rodeway as I was told it has only been open under the Rodeway name for 2 months before that its rooms were just a part of Howard johnsons as the owner is the same . $193.00 for 6 nights . I feel I got a great deal I would recommend to anyone .

We decided to fly in a day early, so I had to book a cheap hotel for the night. I chose Rodeway Inn too, so I hope it's ok. Sure can't beat the price!!! I reserved the deluxe room over the standard. Can anyone even tell me the difference?

The deluxe room has a microwave and a refrigerator the standard does not that was only difference I could see. I booked a deluxe and theygave us a standard at first I went back to the desk and they gave us a full kitchen for the $27.00 . It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very freindly and helpful . I would stay again anytime . There is a wafflehouse restaurant on the property and a IHOP next door at the Howard Johnsons Both hotels have same owner and at Ihop Kids eat free for Guests .

We are arriving one day early too and I just didn't want to spend a lot of money that night. We will be flying in at 5pm so the price for this hotel could not be beat. Thanks to this thread I booked a room through Dreams. Thanks everyone.
