More spoiler alert!!!........

Very cool ride. I guess I was expecting just a little more though. First off, I thought the "army" of warrior mummies were animatronics. I was surprised to see them just stationary figures. I thought they somehow charge at you or something. But I guess making all 10 of them into animatronics would have cost an extra $25 million or something. Also, I think they should change the line where the Mummy says "This is Only The Beginning!!!" because the ride only runs for another 10 seconds after that.

I don't mean to sound negative. I guess I just fall victim to hype. I was this way when I rode Mission Space after reading about it for three years. Overall ROTM is a fantastic ride. As a coaster it surprised me. Has some really nice twists and turns and feels faster than its stats. As a ride, I rate it 2nd to Spiderman in all of Unversal.

Thanks for the opinions, can't wait to try it.

Anything else you want to share? I'm still trying to decide if I will be able to ride it or not. Is it rough? What's it like when it goes into reverse, etc. I love Spiderman, but am not into coasters (don't like the big drops). I do love Rock 'n Roller coaster at Disney/MGM but it sounds like this is way beyond that. Can you compare at all and give me help? I have never ridden Hulk or the Fire/Ice because of their big drops, so comparing to them doesn't help me. How does it compare to Space Mountain considering it is also in the dark...sorry if the comparison is ludicrous--I just don't know. Thanks!

First time I rode it, I was not very impressed. But then the second time and then the third time,.....I ended up loving it. I think it feels so short the first time and you really do miss a lot.

Imhotep yells "Death is only the beginning" not This is only the beginning.

Also...... there's a difference between Mission: Space and RotM. RotM is fun!

Lovetodisney, if you can handle RnR, then the coaster part shouldn't bother you. It is not a rough coaster at all. the backward drop is not much more than the backwards drop in Haunted Mansion, very short.

The animatronics that impressed me was the Reggie and Imhotep at the first. What did you think of those?

Well then that makes more sense now. Thanks for the clarification :)

For LoveToDisney, if you want a comparison to Rock n Roller Coaster, here it is:

ROTM has variable speeds and directions. RnR is just one speed and one direction.
Advantage: ROTM

ROTM has audio animatronics. RnR doesn't.
Advantage: ROTM

ROTM's launch is very average. RnR's launch is exhilirating.
Advantage: RnR.

ROTM has no loops. RnR has a few.
Advantage: RnR

ROTM has various other effects like smoke, fire, and other CGI effects. RnR just has 2-D signs with cool lighting.
Advantage: ROTM.

ROTM's sound system still, in my opinion, needs improving, even in the "updated" version since techincal rehearsals. RnR's sound is amazing.
Advantage: RnR

ROTM's ride vehicales are nothing special. RnR has the coolest coaster vehicles in America.
Advantage: RnR

ROTM has no preshow but the museum makes a really nice queue area. RnR has the cheesy Aerosmith preshow and a really cool queue area.
Advantage: Push

Overall I think the variety and unpredictability of ROTM make it slightly better than RnR. It's not in the league of Spidey in my opinion, but then again what is?

Wow, thanks everybody for the feedback. You have really helped with trying to figure out whether I could ride. I'm looking forward to it!
