Rocky Mount or Fayatteville, NC

Can anybody recommend a clean and budget hotel for the night in the Rocky Mount or Fayatteville area???

Or anywhere in between these two points on 95

On our trips to the NC Beach, we would stay at a Fairfield Inn in Rocky Mount. It's a mile or two from 95, but it's in a great location. There's a mall area across the street with all sorts of restaurants. The hotel has a pool. It's always been clean when we stayed there, the last time was about 1.5 years ago. Make sure you get a room facing the pool side as the sides facing the adjacent highway may be noisy.

Hi we stayed at the Days INn ROcky Mount last March for around $30.00 for the night It even had continental break included. Was a great place for a quick overnight stop.

We used to live in Fayetteville, NC (year's ago) We still have friends in the area and will be staying in Fayetteville for 1 night in about 2 weeks.

I went with the Holiday Inn Cedar Creek Road. The hotel is right off of I-5 (easy to find). They have an indoor pool which will be important to our 7 year old DD. Helps to get the extra energy out. I signed up for the priority club, so 2 adults will get free breakfast the next morning. I used our entertainment card discount, so the room is $48.98 per night plus 12% tax. They have 1 king bed or 2 doubles. If you request a roll-away it costs $10.75 extra. The hotels direct number is 910-323-1600 or you can phone 888-211-9872. I refuse to stay in any roach motels. This is a nice place with an indoor pool and easy to find.

Thanks for the advice....I'll look into the hotels mentioned to see if there are any discounts...

Currently the best value for my money seems to be at Quality Inn Ambassador but it only has 2 diamonds from AAA......any body ever heard of this hotl while I contiue to research the others listed above...

I could also get the Holiday inn at Enter. rate of 48.98....so it would be 109 per night.... which is about $25 more a night then Quality Inn...Rsschneck do you have any experience or thougts about the Quality Inn Ambassdor...
