Rocky Balboa

Will you see it?

  • Yo! Adrianne! I'm there in the theater!

  • Yo Paulie, I will wait for DVD.

  • I'd rather watch Mr. T on A-Team...... ( not going to see it )

  • Other?

I've never seen ANY of the Rocky movies--why should I start now??? A-Team it is!!!

Rocky II was one of my favorites...20 years ago!! :rotfl:

I'll probably see this one on DVD...but that's how we see most movies

I saw a sneak preview of this one last Thursday. I realized I don't think I've seen a full Rocky movie before but I liked this one.

This seems like one of those movies that if you are in BluckBuster, and you happen to see it on the shelf, and there is nothing better at the moment, then you might go ahead and rent it.

Is getting very good buzz ... a lot more "film", than the last rehashes, it seems. Story of aging, looking back at what you have done and not done, that you thought that you would. Do have to say that no one stages a better fight, than he does.

I just saw the first Rocky and really enjoyed it, again. Sounds like this new one could be very good, but I think a lot of people are predisposed to not liking it.

That being said, we will wait for the DVD. BUT, we never go to the movies. The last movie DH and I saw at the movies was Forrest Gump, back in the early 90's I think. :-)

As a red blooded Italian-American man, the Rocky franchise is about as easy to resist as the sirens song!! I will be there at the theater, with all of my fellow pisans, opening weekend.

I have watched every Rocky movie so far. First one was GREAT! Second one was very good, and well, the last 3 were not very good at all. I'll definitely be seeing this in the theater.

I've only see 1 &2 ....Rocky 2 was fantastic. DH and I don't get to the movies without the DK's - we will for sure watch Balboa on PPV or OnDemand.

Ok, I am going to admit it....a few weeks ago, I was sick with the flu and I watched all 5 Rocky movies on Demand in a matter of 2 days. I am so ashamed.

It amazed me that SS actually was able to make money off the same exact premise with very few tweaks...over and over again.

Fighter should retire or face serious medical problems, wife wants him to quit, pride gets him back in the ring, gets himself into shape again and against all odd he wins.

I will say my favorites were the first and second. The fifth was just painful.

I voted I will see it on DVD, I am a glutton for punishment.

PAW! My image of you is crushed. :sad2:

;) :teeth:
LOL, I know...it's bad. Seriously, I have no good excuse. It is what it is and I have to live with the consequences.

I suddenly feel so naked. :teeth:

Stallone should give it a rest. I only liked Rocky V because his teenage son Sage was in it *blush*
