For me personally...it was Magni (and who couldn't love the baby with the headphones on ) and Toby........Lukas just does not cut if for me...I know others love him, but I just don't care for him...

I didn't care for Jill, Josh, Patrice or Zayara. I thought everyone else was great!

Totally agree with you........Patrice and those puppy earred hairstyles really turn me off along with her voice. I loved Magni and Toby and Dalana, Lukas I just can't warm to.

Patrice was boring as usual, Jill just isn't cutting it, Josh is good but doesn't fit Supernova, Zayra is somewhat entertaining but she can't sing.

Magni impressed me the most tonight - but I'm a sucker for that kind of thing

Just checking in. Have only been watching the show for about 4 weeks. My favorites so far are (in no particular order):
Ryan (after the REm song, who couldn't love him?)
Storm (dumb stage name, but I think she has a good voice.)
Dilana (rock on sistah!)
Magni (I'm a sucker for the shaved head rocker....)

The ONLY one of the girls who has a prayer of fronting Supernova is Dilana and possibly Storm (if she gets and extreme rock makeover).

Toby, on the other hand, blew the roof off the place. That was awesome. What a hottie!

I thought that was a great show, best one so far in my opinion. I don't usually love Lucas, but thought he was especially good and I'm going with him for the encore. I used to love Dilana, but I'm started to get bored with her style, she doesn't have much range, again, just my opinion. I thought Ryan was fun, the eye makeup was cool. I wish Toby hadn't pulled out the megaphone, a little too "Pretty Vegas" for me. I thought Zayra was cool, she really can't sing, but she's cool. Patrice and Jill, forgettable as always. I liked Storm and Magni. I wish Josh could just keep his head still, it just bugs the daylights out of me to watch him. I believe it's the end of the road for Jill, I think Zayra could make it another week, but her days are limited.

My reviews this week:

Dilana - Won't Get Fooled Again (The Who) - with Gilby on guitar. I wasn't impressed with the vocals, but thought the chemistry with her and Gilby was great and could definitely see her fronting the band and going to see the concert and having a good time.

Jill - Mother Mother (Tracy Bonham). Yikes. I thought her voice was flat throughout most of the song. I didn't like the hooker hair toss or the stomping, but it was nice to listen to her screech less.

Ryan - Paint It Black (The Rolling Stones). I thought he did a good job with the vocals for the most part, especially in the beginning, but the mullet hair sweatshirt and the weird black eye makeup was so distracting and over the top.

Storm - We Are the Champions (Queen). Amazing voice and excellent control. Had me riveted watching her but I'm kind of wanting her to incorporate more of her extra charged performances with songs like this.

Zayra - All the Young Dudes (David Bowie/Mott the Hoople). Well I'm sure Bowie would have approved of the outfit. She's a great performer because she makes you want to see what she does next, but Supernova needs more than that and once again she proved she can't sing a rock song. Her voice was so off key and I couldn't understand any of the lyrics.

Josh - Interstate Love Song (Stone Temple Pilots) - with Tommy on drums. Why is Kermit doing a Stevie Wonder impression while playing the guitar, and why won't he get out of the way so I can watch Tommy? and I can't believe the guys loved it

Magni - The Dolphin's Cry (Live). I groaned when he came out because I thought it was going to be more of the same that he's been doing the last few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised. Great performance.

Patrice - Instant Karma (John Lennon). I'm still not sure how I feel about this performance. I really like the song. I thought she did an ok version of it. It was suited for her voice but she didn't really stand out. I don't think she deserves bottom 3 though.

Lukas - Creep (Radiohead). My thought process while watching this: "Ooh like the jacket a lot. His forehead looks less neanderthal man when his hair is down . I'm liking this performance. Holy Crap! Lukas can sing! Wow! Finally the Lukas I first liked is back"

Toby - Burning Down the House (Talking Heads). If Lukas doesn't get the encore then Toby should get it. Totally kicked butt. Megaphone and all. I ate it up with a spoon!

My choice for encore: Lukas or Toby

Bottom three: Jill, Zayra, Josh. Any one of them could go home. Actually can we take those three and Patrice and send them all home so the real competition can begin?

I am really loving Ryan latley... he has stepped it up!! I hope that Patrice or Jill go this week, both of them are in my opinion really boring.... I hope Toby gets the encore, I thought he did a great job

The only performance that blew me away was Magni. I can still see Dilana being able to front the band but I can't imagine people spending large amounts on tickets and being happy with many of these folks as the lead singer. Only Magni and Dilana seem to have what it takes to front a stadium tour headliner.

And I agree with Dave. Anybody who doesn't jump at the chance to play with member of the band should go to their bar band comfort zone and give those that will more stage time.

Magni - The Dolphin's Cry (Live) - very talented, not sure he is the right person to front Supernova.

Patrice - Instant Karma (John Lennon) - HATED IT.

Lukas - Creep (Radiohead) - WONDERFUL, BRILLIANT, ENCORE, ENCORE, ENCORE!!!

Toby - Burning Down the House (Talking Heads) - I agree with Dave, microphone was cliche

I really liked last night. I thought there were a lot of good performances.

Dilana - Usually one of my favorites, I thought her and Gilby were good together but it wasn't her best on vocals.

Jill - uhh, I don't think I'm liking her much anymore. She tosses her hair and jumps around too much in a "I need to look energetic, and Im trying really hard" type of way.

Storm - She sang this song very well. I just don't like her mannerisms when she is singing. She has those crazy eyes.

Josh - I really like Josh, but like others have said, not sure he's the right fit for them, or them for him.

Ryan - I'm liking Ryan more and more! Last night was great.

Zayra - Can we send her home already.

Magni - Great job!

Lukas - Love this song! Thought he did an awesome job. Deserves the encore!

Patrice - Didn't like it. I don't like her mannerisms when she is singing.

Toby - Thought he did really well. Tried to make it a bit different for him.

I don't quite get the Lukas love. I HATE his "look" (what is up with the giant Klingon forehead...I know it's not his fault but it's just weird). I also hate the way he dresses, the eye makeup and the skunk hair. He doesn't look like he would visually fit with the band (who seem much more "classic rock" to me). He has a very young baby face and just seems like he would look out of place in front of these tried and true rockers.

MAGNI on the other hand looks like he should be sitting next to T Lee watching the auditions. I can also see Ryan in there.

I like Toby too but don't think he fits in with the band.

I thought this week they were going to have to take a Supernova song and put lyrics to it...or did I miss something?

I'm not a LUCAS fan either...too cocky if you ask me, and he looks like an oompaaloompa! his song last night was his best performance though. love DILANA, but will she fit in with these guys?? I doubt they'll pick a woman. I'm seeing MAGNI or RYAN just like the poster before me said. hopefully tonight is the night when ZAYIRA goes back to mars!
