The ride is not really that bad once you go on it. After you ride it once it's not that bad at all. Do you get nervous on Space Mountain? To tell you the truth the ride doesn't really last that long, I would say about a minute tops. Does everyone agree?

Yes, I saw the track, however, my husband was the one that told me it was a simulated ride and I believed him until I sat down and the harness came down on my shoulders. He's been trying to get me on a rollercoaster ever since we were married 18 years ago. Well he did and I loved it!

I was the same.

I HATED the take off on this ride the first trip I rode it.

Went back last year and loved it. Can't wait to go on it again! Try it, you might suprise yourself, and the take off is only 3 seconds so even if it's terrible you don't have to endure it for that long.

I've got to tell you...I used to be scared to death of almost any ride with a drop. When I was 11 I didn't even want to go on Splash Mountain and wouldn't do Space Mountain. Now that I'm 26 and love roller coasters, my best advice is what my mom told me, at the time, to go on Splash: "It's Disney, and there is nothing that can happen to you at Disney."

How could you think this, when you walk right by the track and see it take off?

So if you've already gone on it before and than you take 1 years break and you go on it again... it's not that bad?

There's no loops in the one at Euro Disney, but it was so damn good that my wife and I went on it 8 times.

As for the take-off, yeah, it's fast! but that's the thrill of it and the 0-63mph is all done within the first few seconds and after that the ride is smooth enough for a rollercoaster.

With Aerosmith blaring out of the speakers between your ears and the lasers left - right and centre it's a must ride and not as scary as you maybe thinking.
