Rock of Love with Bret Michaels

Is that really Heather and Jes who made those Myspace pages? Anyone could make a page and pretend they're anyone they want to be.

I've only been watching the show so I could watch Bret as much as possible. There's one thing I've learned about reality TV over the years and that's that you can't believe anything on them. They're all edited and scripted.

We all already know that Bret and Lacey already knew each other and she most likely put there by Bret to promote her own band. The proof was when they let her do a performance on the reunion show.

I did enjoy the show and I'm looking forward to finding out who the next rocker is going to be. I'm wondering though, since Jes has snubbed Bret, if he'll still be on the show since he didn't find his love this time.

I thought the host for the reunion show was terrible!!!!!! He sucked.

Also, I thought Bret looked really horrible last night, like he just rolled out of bed.

I agree with Jess. I think he made the wrong decision.

The host was Rikki Rachtman. He used to VJ the late-night heavy metal videos on MTV and pretty much always looked like he'd rather be anywhere else. My friends and I used to laugh at him, because every time he would say someone was his "very favorite band" it meant that he'd be interviewing them. What a suck-up. I did find it pretty funny last night that he kept ribbing Bret about everything being a turn-on.

What did everyone think about Lacey's "performance"? That girl is just so awful. Every word out of her mouth sounds like it's been heavily rehearsed. I can't believe they gave her half the show. I'm sure it won't be long before we'll be seeing her on "The Surreal Life" or having her own dating reality show.

I think Rock of Love was a total waste of everybody's time.

Bret will never find true love, he can't commit and feels he's entitled to sleep with everyone who will have him. He looked like hell last night and I think Jes lead him on more than she should of. As soon as she walked out it was evident they hadn't been together after the show ended.

It's nice to see more people standing behind Heather now that the show has ended!

I have watched the show since the second episode and thought from then that it should be Heather--I didn't post here though because the threads sentiment was decidedly Anti-Heather.

I think the final two was correct,no doubt about that--And as for the dune riding,not once did he say his diabetes was acting up just "let's go eat" and if I was Heather I would have been the same way...''''''What you get to drive and I don't?? Heck no! I want a turn''''' Had I known he was feeling ill then yeah it would have been different//////And he straight out told Jess what was going on.

I had told DH it should be Heather because of the connection they had and that while Jess is an awesome person,no doubt about that,her age should be a factor in the decision,she's younger than he is and has her own growth to do and her growth shouldn't be his middle age spread.

Plus Heather(for being skanky and all )didn't sleep with him till Cabo when she was led to believe she had it in the bag whereas others were active when there was quite a few competitors left.

Way to go girl! Being true to yourself and not being cowed just because you were with a celebrity on tv!

I think the last thing that was expected was that Jess was going to walk out and rip Bret Michaels a new one on national tv then dump his butt!!

You pretty much nailed it!

They started the show talking to a couple of the bigger players--they brought Heather down and talked to her then brought out Bret and all the animosity she'd had after being ousted was gone and they were laughing and joking like they had all along...

Then they brought out Jess and she looked distant and barely hugged Bret then she let into him...for how he acted towards her after picking her,how he treated Heather and how she felt that he was better suited to Heather than to her and how they had more of a connection than the two of them ever would.

The show ended then with Jess going down to Heather and hugging her and saying "I don't give a **** what America thinks" that what she said was true.

The ending of the show felt weird to me--I think it was supposed to be longer but because of what happened they ended it there.

I thought the whole show felt weird. The audience's reaction to everything sounded so canned and rehearsed. The host was awful. And Bret seemed like he was in a daze or something.

And I have to agree...although Lacey was a strong presence on the show, why devote half the reunion show to her? And then let her perform a song? What was up with that? (But to be honest, I didn't think her song sucked. )

And I love Sam even more after seeing her on the reunion!

After Jes told Brett that he picked the wrong girl I thought, "Oh snap, she did NOT just pull a Tango."

DBF and I loved the reunion show! We so wished it would have been longer though. Some of the girls never got a chance to speak or anything. Why did they need to keep Lacey up there that long??? She is just horrible. And I don't know what was worst, her song or her performance?

We cracked up over how Jes was. The second she walked out we knew it was over. I liked how she put him in his place and told him what she thought. Although him not being able to go to the hotel with her was out of his hands you know. But it still gave us a chuckle. And we agree that Heather was more suited for him. We loved Jes and wanted her to win, but we knew that Heather was the one.

Do we think that Bret and Heather will try to give it a go? Im thinking yes.

that's how Carson Daly was when he hosted TRL a long time ago. he'd always say it was an "awesome band" or group or singer or whatever. then he'd rib on the band later when they weren't as popular. i'd be a horrible VJ or DJ....because i'd come right out and just say "yeah, you suck" lol.


my fiance mentioned that, too "why is she up there for so long!?" i didn't get it, either. she was horrible, i didn't think she could sing to save her life. they better not give her a show of her own. at least New York is funny at times, Lacey is just crazy.

well they even said that they weren't allowed to see each other for 6 months after the show aired, so it's been a while since they've seen each other. but i'm sure after she saw everything that went on she probably just thought "ohhh i don't think so, thank you"

that's why i didn't think this show would even work to begin with. he didn't want to commit, he wanted to sleep around. as if he can't do that on his own WITHOUT cameras??

I think he and Heather should be together. I don't think she's any trashier than any of the other girls. She's just more real about it.

Don't be surprised to see Lacey with her own reality show in the future...I see her as the rock n roll version of New York. So, if Bret does "Rock of Love 2", I can guarantee she will be a part of it. Either that or she will have her very own reality show.

I read on a gossip site that they DID indeed know each other
before hand.... not just the dad meeting him on a plane.
