:scared: Does anyone know....on this coaster..do two people sit side by side or is it like space mountain where you are front to back? Also..does it go upside down. I can't remember and my son says he will ride it if he can sit side by side! We are pumping him up for it!

Apparantly alot of people who know nothing of the ride layout who have been on it, had no idea that it went upside down. The same happened with my hubby he had'nt a clue.x.

Thats because on take off your brains smash back into your skull and you can't remember anything until the ride stops! :rotfl2:

There is a roller coaster called Xpress in Europe at a place called Walibi World. It is supposed to be the same track as RnR at DHS only it is outdoors. Here's a pic, so only look if you want to see it.

Wow... that's a long link. Hope it works. If not, google Walibi world Xpress pictures and you'll find it.

Here's a video. http://youtube.com/watch?v=-ucexZn7aHE&feature=related

Looking at the video, it actually seems quite tame.

Im nervous about this ride,,but I going to probally go to the bathroom 10 times before I ride.

I was screaming too loudly (not to mention holding onto DS 10 for dear life) to know if it went upside down............:lmao:

I am 40  and am way past the roller coaster thing, but on our trip last year in order to get my son on a few roller coasters, and because almost everyone else was going so did I. I went on Everest :scared1: (never again) BTM :thumbsup2 , SM :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 and RR :woohoo:  :woohoo: . Loved it big time! It is the best roller coaster. You do sit side by side, so he can hold mom's hand if he wants to ;) . It is really smooth considering how fast it goes, is in the dark like SM, does go upside down, but there are no major drops and you really can't tell when you are going upside down (or at least I don't think so). My nieces, 9 and 7 at the time, loved it. They are however dare devils, so that may make a difference. My son who loved SM wouldn't do it, but because he did love SM I know he would have been fine had he gone. His problem was we did Everest for his very first roller coaster and he was to put it mildly petrified:scared1: :scared1: :rotfl2: . RR was the first coaster after that so it was a no go for him, he opted for the Playhouse Disney show (mind you he was 10 :rotfl: ) To get him to go on SM took a lot of coercion and me hanging over the back of his seat so I could have my hands on his shoulders. Don't try this at home kids because let me tell you it HURTS :lmao: !!! He ended up loving it, so it was worth the pain;) . My point is I don't think it's any worse then SM, so if he liked that, he'll be fine :goodvibes .

The reason this coaster doesn't seem to go upside down is because it only incorporates corkscrews instead of loops. The g forces are minor. He's gonna love it, and so will our kids. Our DS7 and DD10 have never been on it, as it was being refurbed last year when we were there. :sad1:

My DW is not a fan of roller coasters. But she loves this one so much, we had to go back and wait for the front row seats . . . it's a much better ride in the front. You get to see everything.

On a side note, she loves Space Mountain. But when we had an opportunity to go to Disneyland Paris, she didn't like that Space Mountain quite as much . . . yes, that one loops! She knew she was in trouble when the seats had overhead shoulder harnesses!:lmao:

Side by side seats and close to two or three loops. Its an awesome ride.
Speed+Loops+Aerosmith=AWESOME!

I know that Rock N Rollar Coaster goes upside down about 2 times. Although I have never been on the ride myslef, my sister and parents have told me about it. I know that you sit 2 in a row.
