Since the Hannah Montana TV series will end in 2010, I think that eliminates The Hannah Montana RNR.

Thank you for offering! I was trying to coerce inkkognito into going (thanks to her and her DH for 'sacrificing' some personal time to check out this rumor ) but it's good to know there are other Central Florida DISers here!

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I did a quick search and didn't find any information regarding what I just heard.

A friend of a friend is visiting Disney at the moment and said that "there's a sign near RnRcoaster saying that it will close at the end of 2009 and in it's place there will be a Hannah Montana/Jonas Brother's attraction."

Could this possibly be true?

I don't Believe... Thanksgiven day to December, Disney principal rides aren't closed...

i would vomit if they changed the theming to THAT. I just can't see it happening...

I can't believe this either. It would take away an attraction that appealed to huge proportion of guests (I don't think anyone who loves roller coasters would choose not to go on RnRC if they didn't like Aerosmith) and create something that only a very small percentage of guests would enjoy.

Actually, if they keep the ride as the current format and just change the theming, I would be surprised if the guests for whom the theming was aimed at, would meet the height restriction

The only thing I can see happening is that the Aerosmith theming may change to a Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers theme but I highly doubt that even.

That would be absolutally sickening! I will vomit if this turns out to be true. YUCK! If they're going to replace the Arosmith theme, they need to do it with something better.

Im sorry, but this is just sickening news, if true.

Well, there are dozens (if not hundreds) of DISsers at WDW now. I would think that someone would take a picture of that sign and post it if it was true.

I will be there for rope drop TODAY And will take a picture of said sign..and get the scoop from a CM and will post during my afternoon break.. The key here is that it is a ROCK n Rollercoaster not a POP n Rollercoaster

dont get me wrong .. i <3 aerosmith ... but id be down for it to be jonas brothers/ hannah montana themed. the jonas brothers new album is getting really great reviews ... theyve grown alot in their songwriting.

Looks like I have a new quest. I live here in Orlando and go to Disney every week. Haven't popped in the studios for a while though. I will have to go find that sign if it exists then. One of my friends works that ride and he did tell me that they were dropping Aerosmith and it will be Hanna Montana. He told me that about a year ago.

I am just imagining the shrill cries of all the tween girls in the ride queue if that came to be Can you imagine Pop Warner Cheerleaders in this queue? i had my ears blasted out by them on the POC queue and that was BEFORE Johnny Depp was added.

There is no sign. I just came from there. However, in the queue, you do see posts for Hannah Montana, Jonas Bros, and Raven. Those kind of posters have been in the queue for years though. It's nothing new.

And since Hannah Montana is officially ending next year, I wouldn't think WDW would be so shortsighted.

I don't believe anything until I hear it from a Disney bus driver! I understand that to some guests Aerosmith may seem outdated, but it's the Rockin Roller Coaster. HM and Jonas isn't really rock and roll to me.
