Best option for riding Rock-n-Roll Coaster: My husband and I both want to ride in morning. My son, even through meets height requirements, does not want to ride. What is our best option - ride single rider and take turns, or if all three of us get in line, can we switch off riding without getting back in line.

The unloading point for RnR is not in the same place as the loading point, so I don't know that it'd be possible to switch off inside the ride. Your best choice is probably single rider; also that way one adult can take your son to do something else while the other adult rides, so he won't just have to stand around waiting.

Single rider or child swap. That is available on all ride with height restrictions.

To clarify: Child swap is available on all rides with height restrictions, but the single rider line is only available on Test Track, RnRR, and Everest.

Also, there is some debate about whether or not you may use the child swap if you have a child who is tall enough to ride but just doesn't want to ride.

Good point. I imagine they are cracking down on a lot of things, with the whole "hiring people with disabilities" scandal. Would make sense if they didn't allow rider swap for this.

This. The first will ride single rider line, exit the ride and then walk around and then the other person can go. I would look at the wait time for the single rider so you will know when to expect the first person back.

Is your son old enough/responsible enough to go through the "chicken exit" and wait in the store for you and your husband? If so, you can all go through together, you two can ride, and he can wait the three or four minutes until you get back.

I went in November with my son who was tall enough to ride, but he chickened out halfway through the line. He went through the 'chicken out' line (he was seven at the time). We went back in May and this is now his favorite ride!
